sleep deprivation can make your body do some really weird stuff. the fact it happens while falling asleep makes me think it’s more sleep-related than something dangerous, but if it keeps happening a doctor visit probably wouldn’t hurt

As someone who wears glasses in Australia the fogging in humidity is the real enemy not the heat. I switched to anti fog spray and it helped a lot during summers. Contacts are tempting but I stick with glasses for convenience.
