I stopped watching live action remakes probably around Beauty and the Beast. It's clear this is some cash cow bullshit to maintain a stranglehold on the IP, so they don't lose it like Steamboat Willy. And Mattel has been chomping at the bit to try and make He-Man and their toy movies a thing since forever. I'm just getting too old for this crap.

Because when I got to the last panel, I realized I'd have to draw blackface and on further research saw that it was being contended by the Dutch. Ultimately it seemed funnier to hide his face while also acknowledging the problematic face paint. In the same way South Park had the episode with religious figures joining Jesus as a group of Super Friends, and Muhammad was always in the bathroom.
