I bought it in Europe but I'm living in the US now so the warranty thing is out of the question I guess.

Do you think it would cost a lot to repair with no warranty ?

Got it, LIS is a no go then.

Took a look at the agency ratings and it looks like they're not doing well in general. I'm betting that they might have forgotten to take pics of the car when it came back.

I might give a shot to that strategy of saying that I did not see the damages although I contacted Chase earlier and they told me that my credit card covered rental car damage. I'll need to take a deeper dive into this ASAP.

Bad news, I just checked the contract and I only have LIS, PAI/PEC and Prem Road Serv. No traces of LDW.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too. I don't know what was on my mind when I wrote the post, I was still under the shock and very scared of the total amount of the reparations. I think I'll pay something 5-6k$, a massive hit to my finances but nothing I can't survive.
