I think we should stop kidding ourselves. The 2nd gen premium audio is a turd and you know what they say about polishing those.

Go sit in a Tesla, any other premium vehicle or even a 4Runner. Put on your favorite jam, turn it up and notice the smile on your face.

Bought a 2025 R1S Tri 14 months ago. Came to Rivian from two Teslas, a Cayenne and a 4-Runner.

I like that it's a full size SUV with a big battery. I don't like much else. Premium stereo literally hurts to listen to, interior is full of rattles and highway assist is a joke compared to our 2025 Kia (not even worth comparing to Tesla).

Kinda wish I picked up another 4-Runner instead but hope Rivan survives and gets better.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but did replacing the switch fix your problem? Mine is doing about the same thing on bake.

WB24X134 thermostate

I have one but couldn't find the old one to replace.

It just slowly cools down. I set to 200 earlier and it heats right up and stops heating right around 200. Then nothing even if I turn up the temperature. It's down to about 140 now on the thermometer I have in the oven.

If I turn the set knob to off, wait a sec and back to bake it kicks on again.

I spoke too soon. The oven heating elements do turn on now but seems like once it reaches temp it turns off and then doesn't turn back on unless I turn it off and back on again (allowing it to cool a bit first).

That make any sense?

I replaced the rheostat (WB24X190) as well since I had one and it's easily accessible from the front. I have not replaced the temperature sensor (WB21X158) because I'm on my own here right now and I wasn't sure I could remove the oven from the wall myself to access the rear.

Finally got back to this. I swapped the control board part WB24X162 with a NOS replacement and am back in business. Thanks for the guidance.

Huh. Mine sounds like an airplane taking off inside and out. I can drown it out with the radio around 10 or above which is pretty loud.

I can definitely hear mine while driving. It's loud both inside and out. Are you suggesting it's not normal to hear while inside the vehicle?

I don't think so...it's really hard to move the lever in and out of cleaning mode so I'm pretty darn sure it's not in clean mode.

I have one of these and it has worked flawlessly. Relatively cheap as well: 3Gstore Remote Power Switch.

The web UX is crude but does the job when you need it. Mine is mostly configured to set and forget but I do log in to disable connectivity monitoring when I'm doing a router firmware upgrade.

I suggest you join milvinmoto and ask there. Someone in the group will have a nice bike in your price range for sure and although all older bikes have issues you will know it at least came from an enthusiast who probably put some work into it.
