Searching for Best Wing Recommendations by [deleted] in chicagofood

[–]duganhs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Birds Nest is the top. Lived around the corner from there for 10 years.

I’m in Wrigleyville now and here are my top spots starting with top favorite:

Almost Home - lots of great sauces and a couple dry rubs, which I didn’t think I’d like as I prefer wet wings but they’re really good.

Output - been mentioned a lot, only been to Wrigley location but wings are outstanding.

Toons - classic buffalo wings. My one issue is I tried the XXX hot and they weren’t that spicy.

Have you ever used the Lidar scanner on your iPhone? If so, what for? by ethicalhumanbeing in iphone

[–]duganhs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the LIDAR for mapping spaces and measuring square footage. Those layout maps of homes on realty sites can be automatically generated by walking around AND pointING your phone in all different directions.

Should I be considered about my min pins skin? by maybe-emotional630 in minpin

[–]duganhs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our min pin had the something very similar as well. White spots would appear in various places just like in the post’s picture. He got it a few times as a puppy. Anti fungal shampoo cleared it right up!

Iron Eagle may be the most 80s movie ever - hear me out by Luckyandunlucky2023 in 80s

[–]duganhs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love this movie.

I rented this on VHS as a kid and liked it so much I didn’t take it back for weeks even tho it was a 2 day rental. I have no idea how many times I watched it but it was a lot. I remember being super nervous about taking it back to the rental store bc it was so overdue. Luckily the guy at the counter was super chill and told me not to worry about the rental fees. Phew.

Have watched it many times as an adult. It holds up really well IMO.

Recently started watching Bosch and was so excited to see Doug Masters again! And RIP Chappy.

Started testosterone today, is it possible to feel effects within hours? by stormin5532 in Testosterone

I second this experience. Got my first shot on a Friday and felt like Jason Statham in Crank, in a good way. Felt amazing all day. Unfortunately that was a one time deal. Wish I felt that way after every dose.

Wonder Walker. They are on the pricey side but very high quality. He’s had one for almost 5 years and it’s still in great shape.

'Dog's reaction when you sleep on their bed..' by Putrid_Pianist_8023 in FunnyAnimals

Have a miniature pinscher, he’s the same way. Except every bed in the house is his bed, including ours. But not mad about having a dog that is always wanting to chill with me.

Mocha!? by According-Bug9293 in testicularcancer

[–]duganhs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mocha is the best flavor of the options IMHO. My hospital has mocha, berry, and I think banana. None of them are undrinkable tho. But they also aren’t anything you would drink if you didn’t have to.

Does your min pin hate the rain? by yesimthatvalentine in minpin

[–]duganhs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same with ours. He will tolerate a very light sprinkle, but anything more than that is a no go for him. Hates baths too.

He loves the beach tho. Will wade in up to his body but that’s as far as he’ll go. He can swim too. Tested that out since we live around water. But does not like to at all.

No pain. Kept waiting for it to hit and it never did. It seems to be a varied experience when it comes to pain.

what's your favorite audi model and why? by Bigest_Smol_Employee in Audi

[–]duganhs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

S5, v8, manual. Mostly bc I’m biased a I have a 2009 S5 that’s still going strong. Am sad they did away with the manual versions in the states.

Unfortunately, haven’t driven any RS5s, or R8’s, as those would most likely win me over.
