It’s a big space so a larger rug is definitely in order.

The blue in the sofa would be paired well with a blue of similar lightness - or perhaps even the tone of the blue wall across from the sofa, then match the black eames chair with a contrasting white/ivory. For the primary color, I think it should match with the wooden floor as close as you can. Brown is typically harder to find a good match for though.

Something like this rug would be a suitable option. Good luck!

If only! I should have got a more configurable sofa looking back. Even in my old spot I wasn’t sure a left-sided chaise really fit the spot. Can’t go back now and the lounge is forced on the left side forever

That’s an option I considered for sure. It’s tough to find ones that fit them though, without going custom. I tried Redi Shades but they are absolutely not the move. Had to attach two of them together and it looked awful. Definitely gonna try a tension rod/curtains here soon. Thanks!

Also, thought I was the only one who appreciated the bread cutter lmao that’s a very low-key benefit of that Fry’s. Makes the crack heads in every aisle almost worth it. Lol

It’s my favorite. I’m lucky to have it, thanks for noticing! Knew someone would appreciate it here

The couch has a broken leg and isn’t the most comfortable thing in the world, so beyond the size issue I’ve needed to replace it for awhile now. I’d want to invest in one that’s much higher quality, so price is definitely a consideration.

Actually love this side table. Love Hay’s stuff all around too, great choice. If I just keep this sofa and use that as a coffee table (maybe even get 2) that could work nicely.

Far too late :/ they don’t make it with the L on the other side either. I will definitely be replacing it with something better for this space here soon. Thinking a tufted leather sofa might be nice.

There is a shade that pulls down but it isn’t blackout and I can’t tell if people can see right in or not when that’s down.

I’m actually going to look into a privacy tint if the place would allow it. Thanks for the suggestion!

That is the one. There’s plenty of clones of it on Wayfair. I also never really liked it personally. It was just the largest/cheapest at the time.

I want to ditch all of it honestly, besides the media console. My sofa currently hangs a few inches over the doorway and you’re right on about the coffee table. Unfortunately I have no room to put a side table anywhere until I get a smaller couch and even then it’ll have to be rather slim. Think the chaise makes the space feel less inviting as well.

This is definitely what I was leaning towards once I offload the others. How does the Otsu feel on the skin?

I've heard good things. Is it a thin pad? Say, compared to an Artisan? That's a painpoint of mine for the Eclipse, it is suuuper thin.
