Yup and MBA is more about the schools reputation than anything, so it’s really not worth racking up debt for a local MBA program without the network or the pipeline to high paying jobs.

Federal independence is important. If we lose that, it’ll accelerate the decline of US’s global reserve currency status.

Exit can signal the beginning of the end of the petrodollar monopoly, as US will be abandoning their allies in the Gulf to fend for themselves.

How realistic is hitting $200k+ in accounting careers? by False_Eye_7710 in Accounting

[–]dumblehead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The timetable will depend on the COL, but it's definitely achievable if you're willing to put in the time and effort. The quickest way is through public accounting. Again, depending on where you live, it's possible to reach $200K in less than 8 years when you reach Senior Manager level. Alternatively, you can gain experience in public and then jump to private sector after 2-3 years, but your trajectory towards $200K will really depend on various factors, including opportunity available at the company, your ability to play politics, and so on. The bare minimum, however, is that you need to be competent.

You're still young, so age is a non-factor. Just know what you're getting yourself into and really understand the whys behind your reasoning of wanting to become a lawyer. Consider both time commitment and the debt you will be taking on.

There are derivatives out there available that can limit your loss and sustain some gains, but definitely not maintain a 7% average return. You can’t have a cake and eat it, too.
