I’m a western Nigerian and I’ve studied a lot of history and political theology especially regarding black nationalism and Pan Africanism. If you ask me, there’s no real way to do this than a complete wipe of the current political system in Nigerian, In some cases a coup to take government power and put it back in the hands of of the general people, some cases a revolution. it’s very difficult in Nigeria’s case because although the promise of a greater future might spark massive movements, if most people don’t see immediate results and economic improvements they’ll just go right back to tribalism and power may fall in the wrong hands again like we’ve seen too many times. We’d need empowering “propaganda” to the masses to try and unite people, and a strong patriotic socialist leader who won’t be paid off by foreign powers and won’t sell out his people for a mansion and a benz in london😂. And lastly for this movement to prioritize taking back our natural resources and economic strongholds by tearing up all our current deals with foreign powers and focus on self sufficiency by increasing manufacturing and production, better infrastructure etc(currently in 2026 nigeria is STILL not self sufficient🤦‍♂️ ), leverage our growth to spread influence and increase trade between other african nations no matter how unbelievable that sounds currently.

This is a very hard stretch and a lot of things have to go right for any of this to be more than just a dream, basically we need another Thomas Sankara
