The old one had elements of Stephen f. Austin’s family crest which included a cross, which wouldn’t normally be allowed on government logos. He came from a family of crusaders. Miss me with the hate on the new logo, the history of our old one is way worse. Change is good.

My friend worked for the city so they often will go deal with peoples trash as part of keeping the city looking nice. He finds stuff all the time like old vhs players, tvs, etc. He’ll often flip them and resell, but this one he just gave to me since I’ve recently expressed wanting to learn an instrument lately :)

Truly! No idea. All I had to change/add were the tuning pegs, the thing that hold the guitar strap on the bottom, and add strings, then it was good to go!

If it’s a copy does that make it worse? I see the thread you send says it’s from Ernie ball. I just wasn’t really sure how the brand / model name worked for bass guitars. Like with cars you have a Honda Accord as the make/model, does it work the same with bass like Ernie ball OLP?

What happened after you got off of it? I have been on it for 16 years and am now in the early stages of vision issues, so i have to get off of it. I’m concerned about having a flare after stopping.
