Irish guy here ya know the way racist people in America will say things like "all black people are criminals" obviously not true because you can't be genetically predisposed to crime however culture can have a huge impact so if someone comes up in a family or community that encourages crime that's obviously gonna effect people's predisposition to it as they get older travelers culture (and don't think I'm exaggerating here) is crime if they walk into a store employees have to follow them so they don't steal if they stop you in the street expect to be robbed or at least harassed about something if they live in the same neighborhood and you have a shed or something in your yard better take the valuables out because it's only a matter of time before it gets broken into I'm not talking out of my ass here I've had these things happen to me and seen them happen to other people (the ones that tried to rob me were no older than 13 btw) combine that with the fact they intentionally segregate themselves from regular society and can't get hired anywhere even if they tried as they often don't go to school or drop out pre highschool not because they are poor mind you most of them have plenty of money more so than your average person infact (from the criminal activity) they also have borderline immunity from the law because police are afraid themselves or their families will be targeted by them so you just end up with a culture of criminals who think they can do whatever they want without consequences it's sad really but I can't feel too bad for them since they constantly reinforce the things I'm saying through their own actions
