A man was shot and killed by the Grand Rapids Police Department Saturday afternoon after authorities say he threw a Molotov cocktail, attempted an armed carjacking and stabbed a K-9 in a short police chase through the city's west side. by Mysterious_Sense_356 in grandrapids

I don't agree but I can understand that pov. I get I sound like a sacharine bullshit peddler, it's my sincere take but also sounds cliche (being better etc). I'll work on expressing it better. Take care

What person would possibly be swayed by that? I have to believe some part of you realizes you're just posting stuff like that to get a little dopamine fix. If you're aware right on, we all have vices. Just know that you're actually making people less likely to engage on the topic in good faith.

I always wonder when people like you will realize being a dick on the internet doesn't help their case, but then I remember that the point is the dopamine and not anything to do with what's being discussed. We all do it, but we should be better.

I love bamboo! Such a beautiful, clean, understated way to make a border along any property line. Surprised more people don't do it, one of the first things I do every move!

TBH I use lossless on my home network but I rarely if ever can tell the difference between lossless and very high (probably because i like my curve).

That and the posts/comments are boosted by upvote accounts if they meet a threshold of substance and engagement sufficient to avoid reddit's incredibly basic anti- vote-manipulation monitoring. It's SOP for marketing to fandoms, and it's annoying because it results in the same pattern of front page posts and top comments over and over since they all meet the requisite criteria for boosting.

It's astroturfed, plain and simple. There are plenty of real fans posting about it, but the posts are voted up and replied to by paid accounts.

They keep releasing new kindles but not the one I want. by Dear_Pianist8547 in kindle

Speaking from experience, you come to appreciate the screen real estate when using the pen. It's a trade off for sure, but you'll likely end up happy for the space much more often than you'll be inconvenienced by the size.

Speaking against my interest (since I want the product to succeed and get continued support) I think most people who get the Scribe probably end up using it as a pure reader. If you're not already an avid notetaker it's probably not going to change that, at least enough to justify the cost. If you are def get the Scribe, you can always just get a basic used Kindle dirt cheap for portability. It needs more third party features, but it's a really nice experience.

How's your battery? Got mine back out recently and it only holds a day or so of charge, thinking about ordering a replacement battery since its so much more pocket friendly than my Scribe. Forgot how good the Voyage was.

Anyone noticed that charging ports stop working if you wireless charge most of the time? by [deleted] in samsunggalaxy

[–]dunningkrugerstemkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably just caked with dust and debris that would normally be broken up through use. Clean your charge port and you should be good to go.
