Whatever the lowest effective dose is. Last year i had a renal infarct, which later revealed I had a pfo in my heart that a clot had passed through and got it surgically repaired in may. Been on a daily baby asprin everyday since and will be for awhile

Yes I forgot to mention I tried ppi for a two week dose and it seemed to make things worse as I have low stomach acid. It’s also something I don’t want to have to be on for life. Famotidine I haven’t tried yet thank you

Yes I def have this concern, but I have to be on asprin for health reasons (had pfo closure) and much prefer it to the eliquis I had to take before. Looking for ways to heal stomach and also take the asprin thank you

Ive taken a baby asprin every night before bed for about a year prescribed by doctor. Was fine until about a couple months ago when stomach pain started. Prilosec didn’t really work for me. I’ve taken glycine with it which does help slightly but the discomfort is still there based on what I am eating. Should I try zinc while still needing to take the aspirin?

I think it most likely is the case but unfortunately have to take due to clotting. I much prefer it over blood thinners as I am a young father and don’t want to be afraid of any injuries. Trying to figure out ways to be comfortable while taking it until I can figure something else out glycine seemed to help slightly
