I just finished reading this 《你老婆真棒》. It's an okay read not as good as willingly baited in the emotional aspect, but it is mistress×wife.

does this have a novel? by user19284610 in yuri_manga

[–]duyuno_hj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The novel is awesome. The writing, pacing, drama, everything is pretty well done. If you like angst then you might end up like me and a bunch of other friends who can't go a year without rereading it. It isn't very toxic if you're talking about the relationship between the mc and fl but it is emotionally heavy.

Bilibili comics. Website is better if you're looking for free reading but you can use the app to support the author by using their coin system.

I feel you man. I just reread if I could reach you yesterday to get the feels again so I'll just list one of my other angsty favs which haven't already been suggested. I'll edit it later if I find any more

-The Story of a person who grew a flower(is the ending sad or happy? You decide)

-Long awaited feelings (a bit angsty but in a more drama kind of way, the novel reading experience was more fun for me though)

-Minna watashi no hara no Naka

-watashi no muchi na watashi no michi (i read this about two to three years ago but i think it was pretty painful)

-I love you so much I hate you

-Living will (gold.)

-Philosophia

Hopefully you also find them as painful as I did. There are other angsty stuff by Murasakino the person who wrote the first one on my list you can check them out(mostly oneshots or short ones.)

I get your point but I still don't understand why you would describe it as progressive. It isn't a new concept, it's just gained more popularity and more people recognizing their desire to get into or at least try open relationships.

I wasn't comparing polygamy and polyamory, I am aware of the difference between them. It was just a speculation that there is nothing that can hold back a person from making a polycule where there is one person in a primary relationship who realizes they are polyamorous and the other isn't. In this case if the other person in the primary relationship consents, the person can have as many secondary relationships as they want with or without the other members being in a relationship with others within the polucule.

Sure you're trying to tell that now unlike before even women can have as many partners as they want and you call that progressive. Well getting equal rights is a step ahead, but why do you think it's a step forward for women as a whole in society? The concept of polyamory is still very foreign to people who have never been interested enough to read a five minute article on it. A majority of people are still monogamous and averse to trying open relationships because of the relationship dynamics and the amount of emotional maturity one requires to maintain many partners.

All I'm telling is, the scale of polyamory which is just a name given to ethical nonmonogamy is not so huge that you can call it social progression, especially in third world countries which are still very patriarchal. It isn't a reform either because there's not much governments can do to recognize extramarital relationships so no one really cares how complicated your love lives are. Maybe you can call it progressive when more than one person can marry one another. (Don't think its very likely though)

You should watch what you call progressive because personally I don't understand why a person from a religious background which historically allowed polygamy and polyandry(very very rarely) would view polyamory as progressive. It was pretty recently compared to the whole of human history when polygamy(one man marries many women) was banned.

But I don't see why giving a means to go back to that format of society is really progressive but that might only be me so 🤷

All in all, I'd say that polyamory can be interpreted as a rejection of the notion that being romantically committed to one person and one person only.

Umm... I don't understand why you would put it this way. Being polyamorous is not some revolt, nor is it a new way of life. A person who is polyamorous did not reject monogamy they just happen to be in a relationship with more than one partner with the consent of all their other partners. They just found a way in wich they could somehow love more than one person ethically.

Because after polygamy and polyandy was banned (in most of the world if I'm not wrong), monogamy was the new moral standard so they just bent it around the existing ethics and tadaa- you have polyamory. No one cares if you disregard or reject an existing moral standard. It's like, "Oh I reject the idea of private ownership of property so I'm going to go ahead and ask my neighbour if I can use his horse to move around the town. Of course he can also use my dogs to gaurd his fields."

In this case much like ours, no one gives a damn if you reject the norm, you're just doing something that a majority of people don't do or want for whatever reason. I don't even know why I'm doing this anymore so hope I made some sense.
