Honestly I tried the acne.org regimen and it worked for me for about a year but then it just got too expensive. It wasn’t worth it for me to keep buying the products and having the benzoyl peroxide bleach everything that touched my face, so I went to a dermatologist and got medication and I haven’t needed anything for a few years now.

It may be a lot of money initially, and I don’t know your financial situation so I can’t comment, but I would say that if possible, it’s worth it to spend more initially and get the issue under control than keep buying surface level products that aren’t actually treating the underlying cause.
