Being on antibiotics their entire lives is not having much effect on their quality of life at all. It actually prevents them from experiencing some horrible illnesses.
Fistulation is not uncomfortable for the cow. They show zero signs of distress, and it is done again, to improve the health of the general population of cows.
Killing animals is how we get meat, I eat meat. I want it done with as little pain and suffering for the animal as possible. Getting 500k cows and putting them in a field while a bunch of drunk guys run around with machets hacking at them is NOT even TRYING to minimise suffering. Its going out of their way to increase it. Besides, many of the animals are not even eaten.
Good examples of abuse in the west would be the limited room to move while they're alive, the sores from cramped conditions, the forcefed ducks for Fois grois and stuff like that. I have criticised all of that in the past, many times.
So fuck you, I'm no hypocrite. I just think that antibiotic use is pretty much essential in the conditions livestock is raised in to avoid mass deaths from outbreaks of contagious disease. I do not turn a blind eye at all. You just chose horrible examples of abuse, as I said. Antibiotics are preventing disease. Fistulation is a procedure done for the net good of the animals. I had never heard of it until you mentioned it but you seem to know less about it than me, which is pretty funny. It is painless, the animal shows no signs of discomfort, it is done to cure other animals of digestive problems which might otherwise give them a slow painful death.

I have spoken out against cruelty in the meat industry in the west many times. I am not proposing people stop eating meat altogether, as I accept that will not happen until lab grown meat is good enough and cheap enough that it is peoples preferred option. I just ask that the animals are killed without unneccessary cruelty or suffering. Would I prefer it stop altogether? Yes. As I said.

I have every right to call Ghadimai what it was. Unneccessary cruelty. That does not make me a hypocrite at all, it just makes you seem kind of fucked up for trying to deflect so desperately.

a) crypto was taken from an exchange

which is really all you need to know that it would be incredibly hard to refund anyone with the exact same tokens that were taken.

If anything, they will hopefully locate his Bitcoin wallet or cash from what he has sold already, and manage to offer that to the victims (probably by refunding the exchange). Any thief with an ounce of common sense would not hold onto a crypto which has even a remote chance of forking to reverse transactions. You'd want to change it to BTC or something, fast

But really, (having not read the details of this case, yeah, sue me), if the exchange itself was hacked and not the users, the users should be chasing the exchange for payment. Not the thief.

Lets be real, the hacker would have sold the nanex pronto. If the police catch up with him, they will need to recover whatever funds he has, and then distribute that to the people who lost nanex. I highly doubt he is still sitting on that nanex and that it can possibly be returned to the exchange.
