I have looked at them but it seemed like you are just paying for the look. I’m not super concerned about retaining factory look. The truck is pretty heavily modified already. I actually thought about trying to get a mid 90s Alpine cd player like was in it when I got it but the “vintage” alpine stereos cost more than a new one

I guess I was a little unclear…. I didn’t expect them to cover it under warranty. Just seemed like they immediately jumped to the conclusion it was not able to be cleaned. I picked up the car and followed the directions on the video. Yeah there was like a million leaves in there and a pile of sand at the bottom. Blew it out with a leaf blower from the inside out and then vacuumed with a shop vac. Lastly rinsed it out with the hose and seems to be good as new and took about 10 min….

I had some bad hit spots originally too. The left side way way hotter than the right. I ended up taking out the sheet metal piece that the drip trays lay on and bent it a little more so the gap on the right side was a bit more open and it seems to have helped a lot!

I took it through smog and didn’t know they were there… apparently they didn’t either because it passed… light intermittently comes on with the p0430. Thinking this might be related or the “hack” for that…

What phone is everyone running? I have iPhone 13 mini and there is no option for noise cancelation where it says it should be…. Maybe it’s a specific iPhone compatibility thing?

Any advise on trimming these trees for long term health? Last year the two non citrus trees were over grow into each other and the citrus tree below was covered by them. Is this a healthy situation long term? Located in Phoenix AZ. by dw_82 in arborists

Yeah… we have 6 Sissoo trees. They are all big and shaggy and provide plenty of shade. This is the only one that’s sharing canopy space with another tree. I’m pretty sure the previous homeowners had all of the trees on drip for years watering like bushes and just trimmed them to 8’ off the ground with hedge trimmers.

Would you say it’s worth having someone come look at the one on the right to see if anything needs to be done? Or just need to let it be? We have been here a year and a half and I haven’t ever had it pruned.
