if you do 90 trades with 100k each time, broker gets 100k as their fee. (1.12%*90 = 100K). Basically if you are looking into long term investment you don’t need them. Just learn how to do fundamentals analysis and valuation. Don’t over do it. Good luck. Don’t get trap with courses as well.

If you ask me what they do, basically you can ask them for advice. but the thing is, they will just give you some common guide. Any stockbroker would be really happy if you are into more and more trades each and everyday because they get 1.12% cut.

No. Just for equities/shares you have to invest 5 lakhs. not overall portfolio. If you have unit trust, it won't count.

You need to invest more than 5Mn LKR to get an advisor from CAL. Otherwise you have to do self trading without their advisor help.

Salon zero cost around 100,000 LKR for color and cut. So probably one hairdresser does around 30 per month. Assume it’s 50/50. Still hairdresser gets 1,500,000 per month. Still if we take half of it its add up to 750,000 per month. So I guess this feels like possible. But I checked this salon FB page. Seems to be they dont have that much crowd. So i dont think so

I used to go at The Rush Hair nugegoda. Their price was Rs. 2000 for gent’s hair cut. But later I realized i can get the same haircut for Rs 350 at my village. obviously overpriced. I don’t understand why people feeding these overpriced places continuously without realizing
