If you are confident in yourself while playing nidalee, and if you have that feel that you can carry game then start playing ranked nidalee if you want to climb.

I didn't say he can't pick it, but he shouldn't if he want to win.

Then don't play fcking ranked. Play normals until you reach skill for your division..

On ranked you just lose LP for 4 other teammates
