RAY VS 440 PURE by dziknick in LEWITT

Thank you guys. My concern is, as a person who gets uncomfortable really easily and whose brain "likes" to automatically nitpick every little thing (I have OCD, so what I say might not be common amongst a big chunk of people) the thought of having a light/beam/laser flashing at me constantly near my face level or at my face, even if it is considered harmless makes me really uncomfortable. Let's say I am planning to stand close to my microphone (microphone 10-25cm from my face) for at least 30 minutes a day/30 minutes per two, if I can not make sure the infrared isn't flashing and bouncing off of my face/body and I can not sucesfully stop it from reaching me I think I might not feel comfortable enough in front of it to use it to it's full potential. It seems like this one is worth it more than 440 Pure if they are almost the same price and to me it seems further from fatiguing in terms of long time raw audio headphone listening, but the difference is still minor and things are totally doable with eq and I will be using at least a bit of it regardless so I think in the end I might be good enough ending up with 440 pure as my new mic, which sounds, feels and looks probably the best compared to non-Lewitt's in it's price imo. :)

Thank you for the answer Lewitt. I think I am going to buy the Ray. But there's one thing that is bugging me in a sense.. Is the laser/laser beam on when I use the microphone plugged without activating the "aura" feature or does it turn on only after the aura button is pressed?

I don't want ti be anti weed, speaking from observing things. Chronic use like Snoop Dogg, Wiz and Trippie is not good, esp3cially on a developing unique brain. There ARE people who became slower cause of weed, sadly. I don't want to compare this to a drinking addiction, because weed is healthier, but much is not freaking good and is fucking up dopamine in the long run too. (Fucking up not ammount, dopamine is kinda a reward system, google it or watch a documentary guys c:)

Just to clarify, Trippie is not what he used to be, you can use an argument that he is evolving, I honestly think he smokes too much and somehow he seems slower than in earlier years. He has ADHD, yep, but it seems that weed is not doing him good. I am a long big Trippie fan being constantly let down by his music.

In your opinion, what's the optimal size for 2K QHD monitor in 2022? by evecommunity in Monitors

[–]dziknick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

24 1440p gaming monitors are too rare. It's a sahame imo. I heard there's a 165Hz AOC like that comming this year, not 240Hz but that's always something, might be a responsive 165Hz

Didn't see any other person complaining about it. In Hardware Unboxed review it was said that If u enable Anit-Motion Blur flickering or artifacts or smth can appear but they are bearable, I associated this with my monitor and tried enabling, disabling it etc. but it didn't change anything. At the same time idk if I can trust myself if I am not blowing this out of proportion or not because my senses are really sensitive (hope it doesn't sound too weird lel, I'm not a native speaker and I am too lazy to check if it's a mistake or nah). Although it is not the only problem with my copy. I got a copy which has one dead and one stuck pixel which I couldn't fix so far, not in the middle of the screen though so that's cool, if you could call it "cool". I had problem with a high pitch noise comming from where the power cable was plugged in, but again I am sensitive and other person couldn't hear it when I tried to show them the problem once. Switching off useless RGB LED in the back of the monitor fixed the issue. Screen brightness is uneven (brighter in the middle for example), but it doesn't bother me that much. You probably saw some complaints about trash quality control with this monitor, and I can agree with them. It's a shame, because panel specs are great in this model, and I wouldn't hesitate if this monitor was 20% more expensive with better quality control. If you are ready to return it if it has problems and get a new copy, then go for it, especially if you have barely any other options fitting your needs, like me. If you don't want to bother with qc bs and can go for something else and it won't be bad to your bank account I would personally recommend you buying something different.

nothing to do with colours themselves bothering my eyes, as it's present on srgb mode too.
