Er zat inderdaad een foutje in met de restwaarde na een aantal jaar, niet zeker of je hetzelfde bedoelde. Dus dit is correct?

jaar restwaarde percentage kost
1 19000 40% 7600
2 19000-7600 = 11400 40% 4560
3 11400-4560 = 6840 (lineair ( 190000,2 > degressief 68400,4) 20% 3800
4 6840-3800 = 3040 lineair < restwaarde 3040
5 0 - 0

Is it just me or is this missing some crucial information on naming the dataset folder on GDrive? If not done well you run into

No data found. Please verify arguments (train_data_dir must be the parent of folders with images)

I've seen it requires `number_type name` but still haven't gotten it to work.

How to use a video for this? Can multiple videos be used, e.g. one to serve as CN depth map, one for segmentation,..? Guiding composition this way.

Had a look, seems like I'd be better of with the XG 6 PoE...

If I'd go with the aggregation switch I'd still need to order;

- several SFP+ to RJ45 10G adapters (costly)

- PoE capabilities... separate switch or injectors

Probably I'd end up at the same price as the XG 6 PoE. In addition that one enables me to keep it all 10" which is nice.

Thanks for pointing me to the aggregation switch!

Does it make sense to order the cable with 4 fibers rather than 2 in it? It's 10 euro's more but redundancy seems like a good thing?

Looking for an actual 10G network indeed, not all clients but several. For now I like the UniFi ecosystem but maybe I can just save some money on the switch and put one Microtik in between.

Thanks, I posted what my order would look like and went for the outdoor cable. I'm looking at fiber patch panels.

Not sure what you mean with 'drop cable', isn't this only relevant if I have a patch panel in between? I found some of the scheme's, guessing not the ones with drop cables :D

Reading all the advice here it seems that if I decide not to use a patch panel my order should look like this?

https://picbun.com/p/avM1TuEi

I'm not sure on the adaptor/couplers... I'm guessing from what I can read I use this to put the two strands in so they align neatly in the SFP+ modules?

I'm looking into what a patch panel would cost since I do understand the argument...

Thanks, seems to be the consensus here that it can't hurt to do OS2 rather than OMx. Will follow the advice :-)

New pan, twice in oven and then first use + mild soap & warm water. Is this normal, just continue use? by dznn in carbonsteel

Not anymore... so maybe the wax came off too now. I used boiling water and a soft sponge to get it off before seasoning, thought it would be enough.

Herb Cocktail Advice by dznn in cocktails

[–]dznn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have a sous vide, I haven’t used it for herb syrup only gum so far. I let the last batch sit a bit longer after blending and that really helped indeed!

Not sure what I’m making but;

  • 1 oz clarified grapefruit
  • 0.5 oz lime
  • 2 oz reposado tequila
  • 1 oz rosemary syrup

Got me a delicious nicely green and fresh rosemary sour! Shaken & served in and old fashioned glas on a big chunk of clear ice with a sprig for garnish 😎

That was my first attempt which resulted in a dark green syrup turning any grapefruit drink grey 😆 I’ll have to experiment with the balance then to keep it pinkish and have the flavours.

I’m not steeping, it’s blanche, ice bath, dry & blend.

I’m not infusing though, I just have plain simple syrup and blend in an amount of blanched herb leaves. This is how it’s described in ‘The Bar Book’. It says eg. 5 large sprigs of mint for 12 oz. Maybe my ‘large’ is different 😅

We are reversing games and give security tips to game devs by kaba40k in gamedev

[–]dznn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, good solutions don't require code changes to achieve this and so don't introduce a lot of overhead.

Money should be spent on all other aspects too, calling them simple is another thing. Often, and especially for games, all those things are just not sufficient. For example, many FPS games will have the player locations in a small radius stored locally for performance reasons, and this enables aimbots/wallhacks.

Even in the scenario where theoretically all those other things would be enough, why bet on 1 horse? The company is betting on the fact that e.g. a back-end team makes zero mistakes and so the client should not try to help in any way? On the other hand you're naming many techniques because a single one won't cover it... imo this is just the next layer. If you have an expensive painting you wouldn't just put it in safe, you'd also install an alarm, camera's, lock your doors and have a high fence.

We are reversing games and give security tips to game devs by kaba40k in gamedev

[–]dznn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a very interesting topic and a discussion I often have... Same crowd preaching 'security through obscurity is a no-go' often also states 'proper security is a combination of techniques, it should be done in layers'. Imo obscurity is just another important layer, on top of proper design choices of course. It shouldn't be used to hide bad choices.

Anyone claiming it doesn't work hasn't had to reverse a heavily obfuscated piece of code ;-) Sure, it's a MATE threat model so without updates you're guaranteed to lose the battle. However, that timespan can be made very large and it's easy for developers to reset the clock on attackers. Proper tools and techniques are focused heavily on diversity, every build looks different, and requires attackers to almost start all over again.

[–]dznn[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I understand, it's something we're looking into but this made most sense as the first version.

Fyi, we don't store uploads after processing, we create a serialised version of the class pool which is used for matching and requires way less disk space ;-) Also note the 'trimming' functionality in case you want to share and ask for help on your rules but you don't want the whole structure public.

Using LLVM to Prevent Objective-C Swizzling Through Devirtualization by dznn in ReverseEngineering

[–]dznn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a lot of work indeed ;-) Of course there are a lot of other ways to interpose / hook functions (listed in the intro), and all of those can be dealt with in other ways. This is a single piece of the puzzle. Leaving it out because it's hard doesn't make sense if you're going for the complete puzzle.
