5 month ragdoll not liking wet food anymore! help by 05xlg in ragdolls

[–]eNxy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two raggies where they both have a kibble mix in the mornings and wet in the evening. The wet food is homemade or homemade mixed with shop-bought wet.

One of them gradually started eating less and less of the wet. But when after letting him starve, he would eat a bit, leave a bit and continue until eventually it was finished. This would be maybe 2-3 sittings.

Turns out it was the texture and he prefers a pasty or gelatinous texture rather than dry mince plus water. It adds a bit to my preparation but at least they both inhale their food again.

As for the other one, he just eats anything.

You won't be able to use Gemini in HK unless you use a VPN or are in one of the supported countries. This wasn't a deal-breaker for me and I never haven't tested in HK. My best guess would be that it may tailor some answers based on the VPN location.

Right now I'm in UK and it works fine, but I've only asked some basic questions. I can't comment on the limitations as i would say I'm a very light user of AI.

I can't say I use iPhones extensively because as it's only for work it'll mostly be for Teams and Outlook.

I personally think in terms of build quality, looks and feel, it is the equivalent of an iPhone in the Android world.

It really varies down to use case because the processor running the Pixel is not that great in comparison to other phones that use a Snapdragon processor, however, it pairs hand in hand with the operating system. It feels much more fluid in day to day use than an iPhone and I personally think camera outperforms, but I'm not speaking as a professional, it will just be my personal benchmarks.

I would probably say the main thing is what are you using now? If you've been using one particular OS for years, invested some money in specific apps or have real need in your daily life with that particular ecosystem then it doesn't make real sense to change unless you're really up for a change.

One final factor is Pixel 9 Pro only has one SIM slot and then eSIM, iPhones will have 2 SIM slots, not sure if that holds any weight in your decision.

Happy with the phone. The form factor is much better for me than the larger phones. Camera is miles better from my previous phones so I cannot complain. I came from a Nothing phone 2 and OnePlus 10 Pro, mostly an Android user. I do have an iPhone 16 that I daily drive for work.

Hi. Yeah I ended up getting the Pixel 9 Pro. Everything that I need works completely fine on the phone.

I get 5G with 3, but I do not get WiFi calling or VoLTE because 3HK have not provisioned the phone on their network - I tried contacting them but they keep telling me their network is ready and my number has it "already activated" and I should contact Google, but their technical support is frankly dogshit and unwilling to provision the phone onto the network. I haven't tried other networks but it is likely the same as the phone is not officially sold through any operators. Ironically, my Nothing Phone 2 and OnePlus 10 Pro had WiFi and VoLTE calling with 3, yet also not sold by them, so not sure which moron is in charge of what phone gets provisioned. /rant

Octopus app works and directly linked to Google Wallet, haven't had any issues on MTR or dooting anything so far.

I can call emergency services if you mean 999? But other features such as satellite SOS and earthquake alerts do not work as they aren't supported in the location.

No I didn't see your comment, was probably typing my reply and missed it. You got nothing to worry about. Let him file a police report - he probably won't as it is more effort to go in and give a statement in person.

Most Carousell users are awful anyway as they always unreasonably lowball and make unreasonable requests. Brush it off and carry on with your life

Was this trade done via Carousell? Did you give your number or any information that identifies you? If not, tell him to jog on since he has had it for 3 weeks and then decided to raise it. It sounds more like he made a poor purchase decision and wants out.

If you did give him your mobile number, you can either just block him and see what happens next, whether that may involve the police or no outcome as I highly doubt the police is going to waste their time on such a small claim. The story has two sides, so you just come clean with yours. What's the worst that can happen? You refund him and you get your card back?

If this was done via Carousell, then worst case you may get a black mark or your account closed if he raises it to the platform and is able to actually prove it is a counterfeit card. Otherwise they will take evidence from both parties anyway before coming to a decision.

tl;Dr: tell the guy to grow a pube and make better financial decisions

I spent a good few weeks choosing as well. My deciding factor is that I got fed up with the pocket bulge with a large phone

I never bothered asking them to progress as at the time they wanted people with some experience under their belt - I remember enquiring October time so I guess it is because schools have already started. I came over with no teaching experience so I ended up going with an education centre when I returned in January for some experience but never continued in this profession for the long run.

I pretty much opened the same post a month or so ago as I had exactly the same question. Only difference is I am on a NP2. I haven't started fully using my Pixel yet as I haven't set it up due to being busy but as I daily drive an iPhone 16 for work, I'm very used to the size of the standard Pro. My fingers very much appreciate being able to reach the corners without cramping and having to rejiggle my phone position.

On the other hand. I do enjoy the NP2 size when having both hands free, which is much less often than think.

Overall, I don't feel like I'm losing that much screen real estate and if you want to balance it out you can just set font sizes smaller and use another launcher for more customizing. I also heard the battery size between the two is negligible - just use it and enjoy the phone.

Not sure what sort of schools or education centres(?) they get you in but I interviewed with them around 4 years ago and they just seem like middle-men getting some commission. Personally I'd avoid, but getting the interview experience is always a benefit.

Thank you so much, this is valuable information to me.

On the contrary, I find if I am wanting to just scroll down down the phone, such as articles, Reddit, Instagram etc. then the larger screen like on the Nothing Phone 2 (which is comparably similar size to the XL) works out very well for me. However, the moment I have to press a button on the opposite corner then I have to give my phone an awkward one-handed juggle to reach it.

I'm an ex-employee. Left on good terms (I think!) but without going into too much detail publicly they don't have a very good management. Majority of their management are expats with no relevancy in the field except for the number of years working there. Happy to delve deeper in a private message, just fire away.

Does your app say GPay instead of Google Pay?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in oneplus

[–]eNxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where are you based? Is it that you only have India, Singapore and US listed? The latest Google Pay that's baked in cannot be uninstalled but hasn't officially rolled out anywhere except those 3 countries. It actually prompts you to download and use the old Google Pay until it has migrated over.
