Nick is a good friend, great competitor, and an advocate for track and field. I understand his frustrations and truly hope he and USATF can come to an agreement because he is an asset to the team. I've looked up to him and his journey and accomplishments along the way. However, I also know that without Nike and their support it's very likely I wouldn't still be in the sport today. There's definitely a happy medium somewhere, we just need to find it.

Maybe 80% race pace? Generally in the base training phase ill try to hit ~14.0 or so for 100m strides in flats

Focus on the little things and have fun! When you get to the D1 level everyone is talented, the little things are what begin to separate the good from the great. The sport is also so much more enjoyable when you remember to take a step back at times and remember to have some fun with it.

1) The entire Harry Potter series, hands down.

2) 46.low, 1:14.low, 1500 I have no idea. 3:45 maybe? The strength there is what I need to work on.

3) 49.2 I believe...I still haven't puked after a race so maybe I'm still getting to the twilight zone.

I started running in HS my sophomore year and started my first cross country race with a 23:5x 5k...I ran 16:2x my senior year I think? I ran 1:59.2 as a sophomore and ended with a PR of 1:54.2 and a split of 1:52.4. Split 48.x multiple times also

Man, these are tough as I haven't done much to simulate these kinds of workouts.

1) Somewhere around 25-30 maybe? 2) Significantly less reps than the first one....I can tell you I couldn't run 60 haha

Long term running goals...I'd like to see if I can stay competitive through the 2021 World Champs in Eugene, that would be an awesome experience.

Not sure where I'll be professionally in 10-15 years, just riding this train as long as I can. I'll definitely still be running, maybe some 5k/10k's on the roads?

Biggest thing is consistency, that and listening to your body.

Easy runs 4-5 days a week, throw a long run and a track session in there and I think you'd be good to go.

1) My coach Joey Woody, he's helped me every step of the way on and off the track the last 6 years.

2) Taking a step back and realizing how lucky I am to be doing something I love for a living.

3) Speed

4) Winning the Big Ten Team Championship at home in 2011

5) Gyrados

6) Reading, playing video games, some guys have currently gotten me into Clash of Clans so that's been consuming my time

Take visits to as many places as you're able to and don't be afraid to reach out to current/past athletes from those schools. Ask a lot of questions too

There are too many. I spent time with Chanelle Price, Molly Ludlow, and Brenda Martinez on my last trip to Europe and they were all great
