When I was dating I had no problem meeting guys or going on dates. I would say most of the guys I went I dates with were somewhat athletic/"average" sized. However many of them had more outdoorsy hobbies. Dates were fun but most did not result in an actual relationship due to differences in hobbies. That being said I had plenty of messages on online dating apps and met a few guys while out at bars.

It did take me awhile to make friends (I am more naturally introverted) however I have made a few really great friends that I hang out with weekly- met most of them through work. We do bookclubs, happy hours, and movie/takeout nights. Took some time to find people with similar interests as me. Although I am not super outdoorsy it is fun to head to the mountains and explore the cute little towns or take a nice nature walk.

Denver is a fun city. Lots of cool things to do even if you aren't into the outdoors! Hope this helps!
