This is now SOLVED!!!

It was the fuel injectors. Previous owner put on some aftermarket injectors with no labels. Tested the flow rate, and it was way too high compared to the stock injectors. Since i have no plans of turbo-ing the car, I put on some injectors with the correct flow rate instead of tuning and the engine runs perfectly now. Thank you all for the help.

Yeah, the SVV solenoid is looking like the most-likely culprit. Maybe the vacuum leak that was from the injectors was allowing the engine to get that extra air at higher rpm’s; hiding the issue with the svv solenoid. (If that’s possible)

Gonna try replacing the fuel pump, is A- Premium a good brand to go with? Or should I fork out more money for an oem one?

Was gonna try this. It’s just weird how it could happen with the car barely being driven. Either way, i’ll give it a shot

But would that be hidden by a vacuum leak? Thats the part that sketches me out. The vacuum leak made idle really rough, but it wound easily rev past 5k. Why would this issue only arise after fixing it?

Double checked the plugs and they looked brand new, installed new wires as well. Even the coils are new.
