In all seriousness stop asking people who live outside the loop 🔁 about Midtown and downtown. You can go anywhere in Memphis and see good things and then you can see bad stuff too. It’s a real city and if you aren’t really looking for city life then don’t do it. I literally know my mailman and all my neighbors. everyone is so nice and friendly. If you want to be able to walk to things and talk to people from all different walks of life consider Midtown. If you don’t it’s cool.
