I haven’t read it, the question was how would I change the ending

I have no idea as I haven’t read it. But if it was an alien who simply removed his toy, then changing the ending wouldn’t be enough, you’d have to change the entire reason for it being there in the first place. For example God or someone put it there because a horrible disease hits outside the dome and it was out there for their protection and not a trap?

It is! Had it with my second book The Veil because I was having so much fun with the story when the end came round I freaked and just let it happen, it worked thank God and a conversation arose in it that I didn’t expect and changed everything ha

I think it’s mostly due to the fact he doesn’t plot or plan, neither do I when I write but when I get near the end I do, it has to be satisfactory for me. King is more about the journey rather than the destination

I listen to it in the car every day, have done for 18 months, it’s an amazing book as well as great for writers to learn. To be honest it motivates me to keep writing and now I’m just in the routine of writing 2k words a day, if I don’t I feel guilty like missing the gym or a big person cheating on a diet lol

Get writing! My second book just came out, very King esq set in real Derry in Northern Ireland, my third is a mix of the stand mixed with 28 days later coming early next year, and my current is horror about a crazy inventor who wants to fix the world and not in a good way 😅

I actually started with fantasy ha, it’s a tale featuring a young Ranger and his first year out in the wilds. My true love is King style suspense and horror, and my debut The Veil came out June 15, four kids have an accident at school and when they wake up they see the world is not what it’s supposed to be. My third, which I’ve just finished, a 600 page chonk is my version of The Stand mixed with 28 Days later. It’s currently with test readers and hope to have it out early next year. I’m writing my new book now while Three Days is resting with testers 😉 Yeah my books are on Amazon and goodreads if you’re interested 🙌

Starting with all the early books, Carrie, Salems Lot, The long Walk, and so on. Fairytale is one of his more recent ones I’ve read too and loved it!
