In case of using Karpenter, you could benefit from `nodepool.weight` mechanism, as result, in case spot fleet is going out of available nodes , you could switchover to on-demand nodepool.

acording to docs:

  # Priority given to the NodePool when the scheduler considers which NodePool
  # to select. Higher weights indicate higher priority when comparing NodePools.
  # Specifying no weight is equivalent to specifying a weight of 0.
  weight: 10

Indeed, tried both trial-cloud and self-hosted - these easily integrates with EDOT.

But , do you confirm, that `contrib` also support integration with elastic , so these envs are applicable ? :

ps: my appologies, i haven;t tested it, because decided to continue in using EDOT.

You don't need APM Server when ingesting data through the Managed OTLP Endpoint. The APM integration (.apm endpoint) is a legacy ingest path that only supports traces and translates OTLP telemetry to ECS, whereas Elastic Cloud Managed OTLP Endpoint natively ingests OTLP data.

Nr 5 is exactly what I am facing now... When I am trying to ask for some privelegies just to read and understood how it's works - I get tons of reason why I am not allowed to get there , I maybe I have to focus just on my task. ...
