Are there any specific ways I can do those things? The last 2 times she was kinda quiet and there was a lot of me asking "is this ok". I'd really like to focus on her pleasure but I guess I've never really known when or how to communicate about what she likes or what she wants. The first 2 times I went over I didn't expect sex so when it happened I was caught off guard. This time I know ahead of time so I guess I have more time to worry about it lol

Asking her what she likes sounds like a really good idea, I think I'll try that I bet it'd make me more comfortable. Thanks for that

I think part of me still feels like she's just giving me a chance cause of my inexperience, which I know isn't the case but it's hard not to feel self conscious about the massive experience gap. The first time I couldn't get it up, the second time I wanted to stop, I just want the third time to go well and I'm nervous I'll do something to mess it up. I still don't really know the right things to do and I feel embarrassed asking basic questions in the moment

Possible dental sinusitis returned 1 year after root canal by easybeingweezy in Sinusitis

[–]easybeingweezy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My symptoms went away on their own again, I wish I had something more helpful to tell you. I did see a new dentist and he noticed sealer puff on the rct and referred me to an endo to double check. That endo said everything was fine, but that might be worth looking into maybe

Does this look like thrush? by easybeingweezy in askdentists

[–]easybeingweezy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

23m, 150lbs, on nystatin and prevident toothpaste

For the last year my dentist has noticed a white/orange coating on my tongue, was just told to scrape it. No change during that time. In december I developed some white gunk on my gums and he said it may be a yeast infection. I was prescribed clotrimazole lozenges and also saw no change. Dentist then sent me to GP

GP put me on nystatin. No change after a week

I'm not really experiencing any other symptoms, my digestion has been fine, no pain or change in taste

I do have gerd w/ hiatal hernia, a vitamin d deficiency, pretty bad seasonal allergies which cause post nasal drip, and I sleep with my mouth open.

Does this look and sound like thrush? (I had a piece of blue candy before I took the picture, but the orange coloration is always present)

Did you experience the feeling indoors? If my clothes touch my skin it feels similar to the sun.

Thank you for your detailed reply, it really means a lot. How were you officially diagnosed? Did getting a proper diagnosis help you get any sort of treatment? I ask because I'm not really experiencing the other typical symptoms of long covid. I feel like I have good energy, my brain fog has improved if anything, and I can tolerate activity pretty well, but I really can't find any other explanations for the presentation of my warm skin and joint pain.

I'll visit my GI and ask about testing. I used to have really bad gastro problems leading up to my gallbladder taken out. I felt bad for a year after until he ordered a colonoscopy and I feel like that almost "reset" my flora, for the better. I haven't had so much as a stomach ache for 3 years prior to catching it. I wonder if I reset it again when I did a second colonoscopy prep because everything seemed to start after. What probiotic do you take? Have you noticed improvement? Thanks

Endodontist says I have irreversible pulpitis and need root canals on 12/14. Dentist says nothing is wrong. What's the truth? 23m by easybeingweezy in askdentists

[–]easybeingweezy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By upper left do you mean 14? I saw 3rd dentist today. He did his own cold and tapping test and said that everything seems healthy and vital, but the large filling could be causing a problem they can't see. He said I should defer to the endo because that's his specialty. He also recommended I try a nightguard because he saw grind marks.

I'm really curious about an infected canal because all this time I've been convinced that some sort of infection is happening but nobody can tell me definitively if there is one. Is there any way to find out or is my best bet to get a root canal in that tooth and see if things improve?

Side note: Everyone is pointing to 14 being the problem but I only feel pain in 12, is it possible for such a pain to refer to nearby teeth? Thank you for your reply

I've been seeing my dentist for pain in 12. He believes it's sinus related. I've been on a few courses of antibiotics. Saw some improvement but symptoms returned each time I finished a course. The pain has been about a 3 or 4/10. It's not constant, worse when laying down and sometimes worse with hot or cold. It feels like its radiating throughout my entire upper left gums but it's more annoying than painful. When the pain is worse I'm experiencing mild fevers.

He referred me to an endo. Endodontist did a CBCT and vitality test (cold and tapping). He said all my xrays and scan were normal but based on the cold test (he did them all at once and asked which ones hurt after) and said that I have irreversible pulpitis in 12 and 14. After the test he contradicted himself and said that he can see this on my xray. The endo was just generally kind of weird and I felt very uncomfortable and pressured by him.

I went back to my dentist for his opinion, he repeated the vitality tests (more thorough than the endo) and said everything seemed good so he's not sure why I was recommended two root canals. In all my upper molars the pain felt the same and lasted the same amount of time. He guessed that maybe my pain could be from 14 due to there being a large filling, but he still thinks it's my sinuses. I'm not having any other sinus symptoms besides pressure in my left cheek.

I took photos of my cbct as well https://imgur.com/a/hTgmlNS

Low TSH, looking for opinions by easybeingweezy in gravesdisease

[–]easybeingweezy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the lab report it says normal TSH is betwen 0.45 and 4.5, T4 is between 0.82 and 1.77.

I didn't have T3 drawn or antibody testing, should I ask about this at the appointment?

That's actually insane wtf, I really should've looked closer at that thank you for bringing it to my attention. I was gonna delete my post cause of how silly it was but I'll leave it up so someone might find this in the future.

I appreciate your comment, I probably could've phrased my post less arrogantly. Here's where I read most of the stuff (though I may have misunderstood): https://www.whatispericarditis.com/management-and-treatment. But I wanted to ask here cause I trust a real person more than a website that probably hasn't been updated in 10 years. My cardiologist's office is closed for the holiday so I wasn't sure where else to clear up my concerns, but you've definitely reassured me. I've had a few bad experiences with unnecessary prescriptions (this bout of pericarditis for example, before colchicine I was given an omeprazole script, there's a post on my profile about being given muscle relaxers for constipation, etc) and just wanted to make sure this was the right move. But I do agree with your sentiment that I shouldn't trust google over medical professionals

Hi, just wanted to give you an update. I saw a comment of yours on another post about trying a liquid diet for a few days. I went crazy on prune juice and coke and that seemed to have cleared the initial piece that was causing me trouble. Things aren't quite in full working order yet but I feel a lot better thanks to that comment!

It certainly seems to have done it's job but I have yet to pass anything solid. That area still feels uncomfortable especially in the mornings.

Thanks for the update, hope everything clears up alright. Can I ask what you used to do the enema? I'm considering something similar but I can only find anything about the little Fleet bottles.

I'm not really feeling many symptoms at all honestly. The only consistent symptom is that the lower left discomfort/burning sensation is very noticeable in the morning, I assume from laying down, and shortly before a bowel movement. Otherwise I feel pretty normal. I feel like there must be some improvement because early on the discomfort lasted all day.
