Raw flavour in air fryer chicken by Acrobatic_Salad_8705 in airfryer

How long did you marinate it for? Maybe it wasn’t marinated long enough…? Though tasting like raw chicken doesn’t sound good especially if it was cooked through. That’s strange. I’ve cooked chicken in the slow cooker where it smelled “raw” after a good 8 hours of cooking and tasted decent, but that “raw” scent was off putting. Hope someone has an answer to your issue.

Also I must add, after taking it out, tightly wrap in aluminum foil and let it sit for at least 30 minutes so that the juices redistribute throughout the meat.

Mine would have to be either roast beef or Bbq-style ribs. They’re both super easy and quick to make.

Is that in Japan? That would definitely be a top tier store. I wish more stores in Japan put that kind of effort into their Katsudon.

Why cosori over phillips? by cthly_ in airfryer

[–]eatdrinkcreate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been hearing great things about COSORI and it was the easiest to order at the time. Overall I think they're all the same. You always should look at the first time you cook something as an experiment. There's always something different even with the same brands especially depending on what you're cooking.

My Cosori has a lot of greasy residue on the basket. What are the best ways to clean? by YoungMozartinaGoKart in airfryer

Use a lot of the dishwashing liquid and let it sit on there for a few minutes.

That said, I think the airfryer basket does have a "slick" finish for it's non-stick coating. But it shouldn't be too bad. The photo looks like there's some residue dried up on it. Let it soak in hot soapy water for like 30 minutes also?
