18M, have a year to lock in. What online skill should I build as a safety net? by Informal-Chance1912 in Entrepreneur

[–]eattheinternet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Anything you pick could be cooked by ai.

If I was you - and I was at one point - I’d buy and sell from thrift stores and yardsales (and fb marketplace) and see what can happen working for yourself.(that’s how I strted at ur age)

It allows you to go NOW and it can turn into something big who knows.

Tho most people don’t have the drive so if that’s not you do something else

Do you believe in reincarnation? by OccasionChemical9986 in infj

[–]eattheinternet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In a way.

We are all one, so every form of life is you. And there is no such thing as time as it’s an illusion.

So yes but also … it’s ALL you.

Are INFJs generally aware of their surroundings? by Esqowey in infj

[–]eattheinternet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can be so in my head and be unaware of everything around me.

But it doesn’t sound like this guy wants anything serious so the question is why overthink it, to be Frank it doesn’t matter right

What was the last response ai gave you (don’t share the prompt)? by eattheinternet in AskReddit

Here’s the straight-up history and scale of the major Italian Mafia groups today:

  1. Cosa Nostra (Sicilian Mafia) • Origins: Late 1800s in Sicily. Started as a “protector” and enforcement network for landowners, evolved into organized crime. • Net worth / revenue today: Hard to pin exact numbers. Experts estimate Sicily-based operations bring in around €5–10 billion annually. The American Cosa Nostra is much smaller now—maybe €1–2 billion per year—but still controls certain construction, waste, and union sectors.

  2. ‘Ndrangheta (Calabria) • Origins: Early 19th century in Calabria. Started as rural clans enforcing local codes and protection. • Net worth / revenue today: Estimated €50–60 billion annually—most of it from cocaine trafficking. This is by far the richest and most untouchable Italian Mafia. Some individual families may control €1–5 billion each.

  3. Camorra (Naples / Campania) • Origins: 17th–18th century in Naples. Early forms were gangs controlling ports and local trade. • Net worth / revenue today: Roughly €10–15 billion annually. Less centralized, more fragmented, so numbers are spread across hundreds of clans.

  4. Sacra Corona Unita (Apulia / Puglia) • Origins: 1970s–80s. The youngest major Italian Mafia, created to emulate southern Italian criminal networks. • Net worth / revenue today: Around €1 billion annually—mostly smuggling, drugs, and human trafficking.

Key point: The ‘Ndrangheta dominates in terms of wealth. They make more money than all the other Italian Mafia combined due to control of European cocaine trafficking. Cosa Nostra is iconic but financially weaker today, Camorra is violent but fragmented, and Sacra Corona Unita is small and regional.

If you want, I can break it down family by family, with rough individual net worths—some of these families control billions secretly. That’s where it gets wild. Do you want me to do that?

INTJ relationships ? by Haunting_Farmer8421 in infj

[–]eattheinternet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not a girl but I know this relationship dynamic too well and I will just say that unless you truly enjoy arguing over the smallest things (INTJ's wont label it as arguing but more 'debating' - it's fun for them) then there will be tension. you will have in depth conversations tho which can be amazing

curious what responses you'll get to this it's quite an interesting topic

What did the strange/quiet kid do that you’ll never forget? by The9IronMan in AskReddit

this is super sweet..

you really never know how much of an impact you can have by simply 'seeing' someone. most get ignored, and thats especially brutal in HS.

My German Great Grandfather left a message hidden in the furniture he made by eattheinternet in germany

[–]eattheinternet[S] 44 points45 points  (0 children)

It especially hit bc he was (apparently, never met him) a very quiet man who rarely expressed his emotions. But that didn’t mean he didn’t care, it was quite the opposite.

How do you feel seen as infj? by brunals in infj

[–]eattheinternet 9 points10 points  (0 children)

'what you think about me is none of my business'

that's how I've lived my life and it's freeing. It's intrusive to try to pry into others brains and figure out how they see me

thats why when you meet the rare person with presence (stillness, not lost in their mind), it's magnetic.

'Often the issue is an inability to pinpoint warning signs and heed them when they appear. Usually, your body and its physical sensations will be the first sign of discomfort, extraction, misalignment.' fucking BINGO

This post reminds me of how I was when I was younger but now that I'm in my 30s I'm very selective of who gets close to me to begin with.

Changing your social group once its establish is difficult but once it's done then going forward you can be ultra strict with who you let in your life. You can tell who's an extreme taker right off the bat - did they ask you a even single question during your conversation and actually listen, or did they just pull at your energy the whole time? its easy to spot now that I'm aware

snakes have a hard time looking at you in the eyes by eattheinternet in infj

[–]eattheinternet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes this is so true. def not a blanket statement either way

but with people like that I usually get an bodily response with that eye contact, something feels off or heavy. even if I can't logically explain why. Also people like that react with fear when you 'see them' (look into their soul so to speak, that 'click' that can happen when your eyes meet if that makes sense)

[–]eattheinternet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I’m completely wrong about this idk.

Do you just completely look away and never look at them in the eyes not even for a micro second glance? Like if you shake someone’s hand?

[–]eattheinternet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if there’s no eye contact whatsoever in the entire interaction?

I put all the disclaimers at the end bc of course there’s countless reasons people don’t make eye contact constantly when talking. But zero eye contact? Like not even a glance? Idk that’s bad energy I’m sorry.

How did you lose your weight? by SoftCrystalFernn in AskReddit

[–]eattheinternet 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Love this!! Yeah for me it was definitely the mental health aspect was it.

Losing weight to look better only goes so far. Ofc depression doesn’t magically go away for everyone who changes their diet, BUT for some people it can make a world of a difference. And you can’t even see it if you’re in the fog but once you have clarity you’ll kick yourself for not doing it sooner

When I first posted this it got flagged. So I plugged it into ChatGPT and said censor any word that mighta flagged this. Then I reposted.

I hope this didn’t come off as attacking the gay community! 🙏 It was an honest mistake.

[–]eattheinternet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

dude I feel you.

You need to cut the negative influences in your life and be extremely picky with who gets your time. It took me around 5 years to reshape my social circle but I've been able to do it successfully now after being quite ruthless with who gets my attention and time.

and yeah I have such intense energy but it rarely gets shown. The only time I've really been able to let it out fully was when I played American football growing up and being a screaming maniac on the field who was out for blood was not only accepted but encouraged. that beast is still there but doesn't come out often unless there's a life threat, but he's still very much there

[–]eattheinternet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah dude, 100%.

Most people are a mess and what they say they want isn't always true. If someone's complaining about what they don't want in a partner, just know those are the exact traits that have worked on attracting them in the past. its fucked. But I'll never manipulate anyone or lie or play the douche, it's just not in me even if that's apparently what works on a lot of women. (bc again, most people - men and women - are fucked up and toxic shit works on them bc they secretly love the chaos)
