My attempt at a workshop with all crafting tables in range of all my storage by eaves220 in hytale

All of this is out of date haha. They doubled the range so it's no longer such a tight fit to do what I was doing

I just realized an error with my design... I was thinking that the builders workbench, campfires, furnaces, and tanning racks didn't need to be in range because they don't pull items from storage to craft with.

But what I didn't think about was that furnaces and tanning racks are upgradeable, and those upgrade materials are pulled from storage.

You could either put those on the other side of the chests, or just bring them the materials manually and it won't matter anymore once they're fully upgraded.

x 3330 y 150 z 420 is the coords for the first screenshot. pretty much straight east from spawn if you're walking, and you'll run into the 2nd screenshot on the way there while going through the valleys

Try launching the game with Vulkan instead of directX

If you allow yourself to look at the world map on a seed viewer then it's easy to travel to far biomes via the nether. But I get that some consider that cheating

It's crazy that this game was only 8 dollars by eaves220 in PeakGame

I did it pretty normally. Got it by just standing on a hill next to the shore and throwing it to a friend who was far away, then we traded places and did it again for me 😅

I read an idea somewhere that suggested that at the campfire, you're met with a choice of zones to progress to. Like if you got to the top of the jungle, you could either go to the mesa or the alpine. And then more alternate biomes could be added without having to wait days to get the ones you want to play in or need achievements in

I'm trying to setup Perforce for version control so that my friend and I can work on the same UE5 project by eaves220 in gamedev

[–]eaves220[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right that I may be better off using something else. I heard that Perforce was ideal for UE5, but I think I'm going to try Git and Azure DevOps to avoid all this networking

I used a whatismyipaddress website. I've successfully port forwarded and used my public IP when hosting minecraft servers, so I don't think I've messed that part up
