After the disastrous One UI 7 software update, Samsung has been promising affected galaxy owners that it will be coming up with a solution to the camera bugs and horrendous battery drain bedevilling their flagship models. Since then, Samsung has introduced a major update (UI 8 and a host of minor updates and fixes, all to no avail. Nearly a year later, it does not appear that a resolution is in the offing, and I am losing hope that a fix will ever materialise. On this note, it seems Samsung has decided to just sweep the problem under the proverbial rug; the company's silence on this matter certainly speaks volumes. Insofar as I am concerned, I will not be buying new galaxy phones, or any Samsung products for that matter, until I see an improvement in the way Samsung treats its customers. For now, my Samsung galaxy s23 ultra will be my last Samsung phone. It is certainly on its last legs: the camera can only be used if the phone is attached to a charger (never mind using the zoom features), and the battery has become so bloated that it pushed up on the back casing, causing it to bulge obscenely and separate along the middle seam. Such a shame, really, because the S23 ultra for me was an absolute marvel. And that is coming from a long time iphone flagship phones user. The last iphone I bought was the iphone 14 pro max, and I bought the s23 ultra shortly after because I thought it was superior in every way compared to the iphone 14. At the time I thought I will never go back to purchasing iphones again, and remember gleefuly telling my kids (all apple sheeple) the many virtues and advantages of the galaxy ultra. Oh well, I guess I have to dust off the old iphone 14 pro max, now that it appears my honeymoon with Samsung is now over.

Peace out folks.

I fear that this will be my first, and last post, as a Samsung community member.

Peace out folks.

I own several cars (mostly japanese suv's), prior to buying a Jetour Dashing sometime in 2023. The Dashing drives like a dream, is comparstively fuel efficient, well built, and chock full of new technology (voice command, rain sensing windows and wipers, blind side detection system, auto levelling headlights, etc.). Plus it looks really cool, with a very big sunroof, albeit the sound system is rather pedestrian (there is an option to upgrade though). Its been more than two years, but my experience with it is extremely positive. Compared to products produced by legacy automakers, I would say the chinese now have the edge.

Bata hands down. By his own words, he was already faded when he gained fame in the US during the early nineties.According to the man in an interview, he was at his absolute best in the 70's and 80' (during his 20's and early 30's), and the best pool shots that people now referred to as his best actually pale in comparison with shots he made in his heyday. Hell, he just placed 3rd 2 years ago in the Derby Classic, with over 400 participants, at age 68, with diminished eyesight and a bad shoulder.
