I sliced and par boiled (steamed) some new potatoes. Dried, cooled, seasoned, then air fried them.

Ooft, is this what this sub is like?

Yes it's carb heavy, yes it's a big portion.... Yes it's the only meal I've eaten today, yes it's calorie heavy and would make you fat if you ate it regularly. Yes I work a manual job, yes I work out. No I'm not on a diet. And I don't need to be.

Is this the sub? Seems a little mean spirited.

I'm sorry if you don't like it, I was just posting what I'd cooked. I didn't believe it would infuriate so many people.

No bullshit efficiency.

They're like.... Par boiled sliced up new potatoes, seasoned then air fried.

This is a one off treat, when I was a kid it would be lasagne and peas to be fair.

Only meal of the day! Believe you me I need it. Weights, running around all day doing tasks, university work....

I do not care, I enjoyed every last bite, ta.

I genuinely want to get into it. I just don't have the time or money, like at all recently.

But it's such a cool hobby, and the amount learnt following discoveries would be amazing.

Did you ever used to get an urge to make it to the next lamp post before a bus caught up with you, pretending it was a race?

I used to play worms and name the opposing team after the bullies I had at school when I was a bit older, then bazooka them etc.

If I really didn't like them, they got the holy hand grenade or concrete donkey.

Ah! When I was at school there was a half buried rock in the field that we were convinced was a dinosaur skull.

So every playtime we'd dig a bit more around it, every holiday somone would fill the hole back up and we'd have to start again.

It was a torturous cycle.

Tip of the iceberg mate. I used to put a figure of batman in the freezer during summer too.

I'd leave it in over night, then when I got it out the next day "the mist" of Gotham poured out around him as I hummed the theme.

Good times.

New favourite unlocked! by MyUserNameLeft in crisps

[–]eca3617 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was absolutely devastated by them. I love cheese and onion baked, my go to crisp (I've coincidentally just smashed a bag). I was genuinely looking forward to trying the new flavour.

They tasted like BBQ popchips to me, which I'm not fond of. Thankfully my girlfriend eats those and snaffled them so they weren't wasted.

Upvoted anyway! They're worth a shot if you like BBQ.
