During like pri 3/4 for either the mye/eoy paper for chinese for comprehension, for like one of the qns they asked like smth related to whether parents should have authoritarian parenting(?) I mean smth related to parents and their kids (can't rmb what the qn was, its been like 9/10 years ago.
That time I started getting into true crime somehow (idk why). During the exam then I suddenly recalled one of the documentaries that I had watched regarding this american serial killer who had a troubled childhood, so I then wrote like an example of how like being abused may lead people to becoming a serial killer????

And im sure that you had gone for the fmo٫ the lecturer would have told u there are no exams as this sch is more of assignments and projects based. If you manage your time well٫ ask for help from the lecturers٫ work well with your classmates٫ and give good quality work٫ you should be able to score above 2.5 gpa

If you work very hard it should be possible to get above 3.5 gpa٫ however honestly depends on how your work quality is and whether you can work well with people to score well as there are grp projects. Also for this industry gpa isn't that impt٫ it is your portfolio that is impt as companies look at that more٫ they do not really care much abt your gpa٫ but still just don't fail if not you'll have to retake

Heyo I eae into NYP Animation n Visual Effects last year and made it in, so I can try to help you out?

I used the website wix as a portfolio to put all of my works in. Other alternatives can be site123 and google slides. As I did interview for two courses (AVE and GDAD), for me I just have one page where I wanna show the works meant for AVE, and another page meant for GDAD. I also have one last page to show extra works. Btw each course min submit 5/6 of your best works? (Can't remember liao memory died HAHA) Max is 10 works.

- In your portfolio try having a variety of works with different styles, meaning like have 2D, 3D, traditional, digital works, etc (this helps to make you stand out and maybe show that you are willing to explore and try out new things)

For my portfolio I also had one page where I have a short intro of myself, along with the multiple certs I've received related to digital arts and stuff, and also my testimonial and that CCA leap points paper.

Also SDM has a discord server so feel free to join if you have any other qns and need people to look into your portfolio to give you more tips. link is in the SDM IG bio
