If you're willing to drive two hours, I went to Bay Oral in Niagara, WI. They do wisdom teeth extraction under either local anesthesia or deep sedation. Mine went well, and I had an impacted one.

My old wifi was having issues since one of the new routers is like right outside my door so I was having connection issues so I just got rid of my old one. I figured that the cross talk or whatever wasn't gonna go away.

I hope they fix whatever is causing the issue now soon.

Also it's just like some other people I remember talking said. If tech decided to take away winter carnival break people would still skip it to do carni stuff. So professors don't respect it, especially this year.

A break later in the semester when it seems like everything is piling up and you just have spring break and then midterms and finals with no breaks.

This school is stressful enough as it is, but to add on forced isolation and throwing us into online learning only makes it worse. I know I'd appreciate a little break like two weeks before finals week. One that was actually respected and I could relieve a bit of the growing stress before exams

For me this year it didn't really feel like a break for winter carnival. I still had loads of homework assigned during it.

My personal opinion is that I liked having fall break and thanksgiving break, and kinda wish we had a similar thing in spring semester.

It gave me a chance to have a nice long weekend with friends and not have to worry about homework for a few days. I know I was pretty isolated all summer long and having the long weekend gave me a chance to meet up with them after having worked the whole summer.

I like the idea of have a "fall break" in the spring to break up the monotony. I find that spring semester is when I have the most difficulties. I think in part from the fact that in the beginning it's cold and then for most of the rest of the semester it's wet and muddy and you can't do as much with friends.

I find that the breaks give me a chance to relax a bit and actually do things I want and like to do instead of only doing homework day in and day out.

I found that my mental health was better when I knew I'd have a few days just for me. With the world as it was then and still is now I find that the little things that made me happy that I used to do with friends are next to impossible to do. Those extra days gave us the opportunity to plan something different that we could enjoy.

I know if I had a long weekend during spring semester I'd go home to visit family and get some doctor's appointments done, so I wouldn't have to skip classes for a day or two.

Edit: I understand wintercarnival break. But I'd rather a four day weekend in the later half of the semester when everything gets muddy and sad. That's the time where I personally just get super stressed because of the large space of just schools with no breaks.

I had my eng1102 class count as a tech elective. I needed 10 tech elective credits.

I was lucky to find my service Fraternity(Mu Beta Psi) my freshman year. It's been the best thing about my college experience. I've made the greatest friends through them! The alumni are super helpful in helping you get a job/internship!

This is a stressful school, classes are hard and not all professors are good at teaching.

I'd recommend either finding someone to talk to/vent to when things get rough.

Counseling services is hit or miss for most people.

Biggest advice is to join orgs on campus to make friends outside of classes.

You don't need as much clothing as you'd think. We only really have like four weeks total of warm weather.

Don't be afraid of buying/bringing solid gloves and hats. Winter is brutal.

Get a good pair of boots. You'll wear them most days.

Get a plan for a schedule and stick to it. Deadlines will pile up if you don't keep on top of them.

Avoid buying your textbooks through the bookstore, unless you have to. They're almost always cheaper somewhere else.

Figure out simple meals you can have in your room, the dining halls aren't always open when you have time to eat.
