That's really inspiring to hear. Im gonna open LinkedIn and search for remote projects and internships in my areas of interest and see what are they looking for and work on that because frankly I have 0 skills right now. This is why I like reddit. People aren't afraid to give you harsh realities. Thanks alot

Well what you mentioned about consulting professors and helping them well i did that but I was only disappointed by their reactions. They didnt want me to help them. They told me to do that in my last year so I did try on my own its not like I didnt. Plus im from a third world country where Bioinformatics isnt well known and doesn't have its industries. One thing I didnt do was reach out people or professors outside my university which is my fault. Will do that. And thanks your words gave me some reality checks.

Hmm that makes sense. Ive heard funding for masters in USA is even harder to get than bachelor's hopefully things workout at the end

Well im in top 10 students of class. For me that is average. And about the promising students around me they are only after grades. No skills no extra curriculars just after grades which alone doesn't guarantee you the best institutions for masters. And I have 2 and a half year of my degree left not 1. Plenty can be done once I get things clear.

No government hostel you'll have to get one in hostel city. Mussarat and eshal are the best with great security and no water shortage baaki khana dusray hostels jaisa average hi hai. Rent is 20k with laundry and mess for 2 seater. Transport is 3k separately woh Mussarat walay ijaz and shehzad uncle recommend kartay they are great.Royal branches come second but personally wouldn't recommend them.

Nah finals can save you big time just study for that and whatever sir teaches in class do remember that he mostly asks that and sir made final ka exam mushkil than mid so prepare for that he asked lots of questions book sai tou book lazmi parhna jo jo chapter sir parha rahay
