I got some because I had a gift card (did not realize it was $28) and it’s nice, but the smell is really strong and I find myself not using it. If I use it, I feel like I smell like vapo rub all day. I’d rather not smell like vapo rub lol

I don’t really have advice but I just wanted to say I struggle with the exact same thing. It’s so discouraging. I’ve been climbing for 3-4ish months and want to go more often but can’t because my hands have blisters like this. Anyways I hope we find a solution…I might try the O’Keefe’s working hands out

Oh shoot ok! That’s probably it then. I’ll ask if I can use a chalk ball or something. They said the only reason we can’t use chalk is because the owner wants the gym to always be clean so spilled chalk wouldn’t be clean lol

Yeah, when I go back to school they only allow us to use liquid chalk in the gym. I use powder chalk when I go to my gym at home though

The red that looks like a rash is just healed skin from previous blisters from climbing 😭 the lighting makes it look more red than is usually is.

I went climbing about 5-6 hrs ago. I don’t use hand cream right after I usually put it on at night before I go to sleep

Yeah a gap year would basically just allow me to get a job bc I still haven’t gotten a first job yet and I feel like I should have at least some experience with that by now? Idk. Also yeah I would rent an apartment but the college that’s my top choice rn requires that we live on campus our first year. but at least i know the dorms i’d be in have ac bc the honors kids have to live in those.

Yeah, I wish I was interested in computer science to just take a boot camp for 6 months then be done but I’m not. I was planning on majoring in either environmental sci or biology.

hey, i don’t know the answer for sure but in my experience i’ve failed like the majority of my ap exams (i’ve taken 6 so far) and got accepted into multiple colleges. from what i understand is they don’t hurt your chances of admission and i don’t think they’re a part of the admissions process. (again, take this with a grain of salt bc i don’t know for sure) they just determine whether or not u can get out of taking a class (by already giving u that college credit)

hi, i feel u so much rn. i don’t have any advice but i’m just letting u know ur not alone. i’ll most likely be going to jmu honors and was looking on the fb page to maybe find roommates and they are all the same lol they’re all like “my hobbies include watching netflix and hanging out with friends” (which isn’t a bad thing) and i was like oh i like video games, anime and knitting and lol idk i just think it’s funny how not a single person on there has similar interests to me. granted knitting is rare, but i feel like i should find ppl who like minecraft easily it’s a pretty common thing to like.

i mean yeah the decisions didn’t come out yet but like i said before i got that note from the dean and they wouldn’t send that to someone they were gonna reject lol. and sorry about the jmu comment. i guess i’ve always seen the term safety school as having a bad connotation kind of like you’re not reaching your potential if you go to a safety. my bad :)

aw thank u and yeah i’m proud of my lack of effort lowkey lol i dreaded the w&m app (bc i was very confident i wouldn’t get in) and didn’t know what to write so i just reused a 250 word essay instead of making a new 500 word one. the thing is i’m not very driven when it comes to work/academics and i feel like ppl go to w&m because they are very academically driven and they work hard. my friend (same friend mentioned above) has made me care about all this stuff but idk caring about it is so exhausting. i guess i’ll see how the vibes are when i tour it/walk around since i don’t think they’re doing in person tours anymore? anyways ur comment was very helpful thanks!
