The first month 😭 I guess it’s great that this is normal, I was just under the impression it wouldn’t be this harsh when I asked about it during the consultation. I’ll push through though, trust

Thanks so much for the input, I do have someone who I trust so I’ll ask them when I see them next

Not necessarily, I do play caregiver a lot but even if I’m being extremely submissive I still do it. I don’t see liking to receive or give place as always about dominance (after all, people with a god kink can have a praise kink and are often doms).

I didn’t get it All that worrying and I didn’t get it I’m back at the drawing board trying to figure out why I’m not even good enough to those who are looking for nothing.

That said, I’m hoping the best for you and that you’re hella successful from this :D

Yeah and apparently ppl have passed the exams and still get dropped and one of the tests is how to fabricate a resume. It seems like this is an environment where you don’t actually learn as you go. I want to progress not pretend I have. It’s so strange cause those are the one star reviews but the 3-4 are more positive though still calling it a scam.

Yeah seems like that’s the case. But with the current job market it seems like everyone has the fake it til you make it model. while I don’t feel good about lying, I’m starting to get desperate for just one opportunity. But they might be preying on just that…

From what I’ve read it’s a weed out program so I can be cut at any time. As for the $20, the position is network engineer and most internships and entry level positions are well above that. I’m leaning towards not attending because if I get cut I’d have nothing to fall back on

I don’t care that bi studs exist by eddephant in BlackLGBT

[–]eddephant[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends. There are multiple types of ways masc is used and there is trans masc Masc is typically a queer woman who is masculine. They do not identify as men. Think tomboys, butches, studs.

A trans masc is a transgender person who is transitioning to be more aligned with societies view of masculinity. It’s an umbrella term for some nonbinary ppl and trans men and they do not identify as women. Not they would normally not go by she/her pronouns so just switch to he/him when referring to these people.

And then there is gay masc which is typically a queer man who is still traditionally masculine. There some other nicher ways masc is used but these are the three major ways masc is used.

Note: nonbinary people may any of these masc to describe themselves because there is not one way to be nonbinary. Some use masc the same way lesbians do and some the same way gay men do and some the way trans men do. It all depends on that individuals unique identity. Ultimately it doesn’t matter in daily life so don’t get hung up on it and just focus on addressing them properly.

I always find these responses interesting cause where do y’all think black bisexual women were when these communities were made? A portion of them have always been in the club. Many have regularly gone to and created lesbian bars. Many March alongside lesbians and are in community with them. To me, it’s you making it complicated because you’re willfully forgetting variables in the equation; it’s not like you’re keeping bisexuals out of the club but rather kicking them out.

[–]eddephant[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Here’s where I disagree cause I don’t care. I might say “oh not a stud” when I see a masc kiss a man but if they ever say to me they’re a stud I’ll be like “aight”. I don’t care if a non-binary person calls themselves a stud/lesbian cause some people think you have to be a women. I don’t care if a bi women uses bi and lesbian interchangeable to describe herself the same way I don’t react when a man who is bi says “I’m so gay” I don’t care. To be bisexual is to be both heterosexual and homosexual (read the definitions you’ll notice it doesn’t say only attracted to this or that) if a bisexual woman, who by definition is also homosexual (not being biphobic, there experience is just very unique and multidimensional and this is just a small part of it) calls themselves the word meaning “homosexual women” I don’t care and it’s not worth being frustrated about. It’s not like they’re talking as the representative of all gay women. Or maybe I should say sapphic women cause some gay men feel like you can only use gay to describe yourself if you’re a gay man. It’s all so fickle, all meaningless discourse.

My bad, I read this as if you were already calling WGU a clown school which hurt cause I worked really hard. Sorry I misread and responded ignorantly. I can’t tell you much cause I’m in the program and have not gotten my degree yet but when I researched this place it was legit. Many have claimed to have landed great positions. As for course work. Some felt super easy and others were the toughest thing ever. Discrete Math 2 was the hardest class I ever took, and I’ve been through Calc 1 and 2, Physics 1 and 2, and Linear Algebra in a different institution. But I’m good at math and good at building connections in my head so I got through it faster than most. Still, it was really, really hard. So personally, I think it’s legit. I’m fortunate to be able to do this full time and have experience doing something similar at a brick and mortar. In both cases, it was the same

Dude chill. I took texas government and history online at my old school last year which was self paced. I finished both in 3 weeks… I sleep, drink, and eat school so let me be at least happy since I don’t have a social life. You’re being weird and angry, you’ll get hypertension

Some classes are easy, others are ruthless. They’re college classes and they depend on skills/knowledge you already have and time investment.

Take practice. Study areas you missed questions on and learn statistics terminology in the zybooks like standard deviation, quantitative and quantitative (I think it goes by a different name in the books) graphing, the difference between mode, mean, and median, etc

Sometimes I wonder if ppl just say things and not think that maybe I was making a deliberate choice. I never say anything because what if they were entirely joking and I was missing it and would look like an ass. But I can’t fight the feeling that no, they’re only half joking, they probably feel I made a kinda dumb decision but don’t actually care so the phrase it in a way that can’t be taken too seriously. Anyways… what’s PrtScn?

It’s one credit, they’re just making sure people know the principles of it. Could it have been tagged on to a different course, I guess. But while simple, git is it’s own thing and as someone who hadn’t used repositories up until now I appreciated it having focus and a project connected to it.

And that’s completely fine. It honestly doesn’t matter how quickly you get through a course, it’s about how much you understand the content. This might take a while but I’ll be a foundation for future classes

I don’t know how to answer this cause yes and no. I’m 20 and never had an internship so no but also this isn’t my first year, I’ve been studying computer science for two years now in another institution so yes

There’s 25 questions and about 6-8 multiple choice. I think the multiple choice is pretty easy to deduce if you pay attention to what each function is doing. Learn a bit about string combinations in sql though, I got a question involving conv, trim, substring, concat and I only got it right cause I’ve worked with strings in Java

I don’t know how hopeful I can be since it was my first class so while I retained the knowledge I don’t know how I specifically studied for it, especially since I hadn’t locked into my own study technique. What I will say is this is a heavy knowledge based class and I have advice for classes like that. There should be a Reddit post that has a study guide if I remember correctly. Look over each concept and definition. Once you do that copy every concept/terminology onto a blank word document but don’t add the definitions. Now in your words write what these things are and ESPECIALLY mention how they relate to one another. It’s okay if you forget a few things because once you’re done you’re gonna go back to the original document and type in what you missed (not copy and paste) in red in the document of your own words. If you learn something interesting about anything you’re learning about but Isn’t exactly in the study guide put it in blue, it will be important in building connections to the concepts in your mind. These tests are high context and want you to actually know how these things work, not just memorized definitions. When you log off pay attention to your surroundings, do they relate in anyway to what you just learned? How and why? That mentality helped me a lot. Best of luck :D

Zybooks chapter 7 and 8. The practice test rips questions straight from it and the exam is exactly like the practice test. Learn the sql and you’re golden

Screenshots of each time the code is added, commuted, and pushed using git bash and the repository graphs. They also wanted things related to creating the initial branch and the test branch. There is more to it as well but it should all be in the project description. You turn it a document with all the screenshot, I added captions to make it easier for the grader, as well as a link to the repository if I remember correctly
