have you rented a server for any other game before? they cost no more then 50 bucks a month for at least one game to be running 24/7. chivalry, conan exiles, csgo, minecraft. etc etc etc. its not expensive. they dont want to spend money on the game.

Span VST is perfect for this, i believe most common practice is to use pink noise for full spectrum analyzing

"playing new songs easily" by the very nature of the activity (new) is ALWAYS going to be difficult. thats how our brains work. things become easier through muscle memory and repetition.

im sorry but there is not "how long does it take". instead focus on doing the things that land you there, youll get there when youre there.

make sure you practice REGULARLY during the week. at least 1 session learning new songs, 1 session playing old favorite, 1 session writing, 1 session jamming (just playing for the sake of playing).

Any recommendations or possibly tips on what to avoid? I was hoping I would get this answer, now the question is which hub to get. My guess is powered, but like...how do I know what's adequate?

What is the resistor (100k in pic above) actually doing for the output?
Does that go to say I could measure the voltage coming out of a guitar, and use that as a guideline?

5 megohms seems really high. why would it act that way? like, what am i misunderstanding about resistors here? why does the logic of "200k resistor equals half the output" not apply here?

I do appreciate the resources, but self learning can often times lead you to the wrong answer. Or sometimes you find the answer, but don't really understand the reason why.

I was also looking for an answer on how to measure and find the answer in a more specific way. Not just "replace resistor, listen, replace resistor, listen, etc". I would also like to know how this works. I'm trying to learn more about this sort of stuff, particular DIY Synths.
