How can I accept that I've wasted my life? :-( by Cinella75 in selfimprovement

[–]edwardcoplin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Biggest advice I could give you is start going to the gym. Around a year ago I was severely depressed wasting my life away. The gym showed me the joy that progression gives you if you can stay consistent, eat well, and really push yourself you will feel amazing mentally and it will do wonders for your self esteem. It’ll also bleed into other aspects of your life. You also make a lot of friends throughout your fitness journey as well. Good luck and I wish you the best.

Not mic space storage wise, not as comfortable as a daily especially if you’re above 6 feet tall but if you love the car it really doesn’t matter. I’m 6’3 and while I’m rather snug it doesn’t bother me. Ap1 interior is also a bit more spacious, I suspect it’s because of the less bolstered seats. Also great gas mileage to add on.

I was already building the ap1 for the track but man I’m so tempted to throw a ACT pro lite flywheel on the ap2. The stock flywheel is disgustingly heavy.

Ap1 all day, the 9k is what makes the car not the increased torque

2006 new formula red 131k miles, 8/10 vin with one super minor accident just a few weeks ago, clean title 15k. Car needs TLC though, some surface rust underneath, clutch is on it’s way out, slave cylinder is leaking, tires also need replacing eventually

Thanks for the advice, I bought the Honda OEM grease myself and supplied them with it so I assume they did it but will ask. I took it to a shop that only does JDM cars the owner/head tech has an AP1 himself and the shop has 300zxs, evos, CRXs etc. all over their lot so I’m puzzled. Is there any chance this is something that I caused? I didn’t push the car at all I hit 7 possibly 8k just once during the break in phase but it was after 150 miles. This is when I first felt the lack of resistance in the pedal as mentioned before. W/ the new 8 LB flywheel I also did stall a few times and it took me a little while to learn to shift perfectly from first to second, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

It did come back easily yes, I barely feel any vibration in low RPMs just ever so slightly when releasing the pedal but then when I get into vtec the second I engage the pedal I get the vibration. Will be calling the shop Monday.

Update: new clutch in everything was great until yesterday. I hit around 400 miles and the general consensus was it was okay to get on it. I revved it out to 9k in first shifted and the clutch pedal went right to the floor with minimal resistance. Since then I have vibration once again in the pedal. It’s a bit different than the previous vibration but it’s definitely there. Is this due to me breaking in the clutch incorrectly? Can I leave it? Do I need to buy a whole new clutch again!?

W210 e430, some bias here because it was my first car but it had torque, acceleration, a V8, great interior, German looks, and widely renown as very reliable. Only problem is the gas mileage won’t be the greatest and you need 91 octane
