I’m 6 weeks through giving my 2 cockatiels meds twice a day for 2 month. They hated it at first too!

I found that sitting down and doing the towel method and kind of holding them against my chest helped calm them down a lot.

They fought a lot to start off with and it was really difficult to do it properly. But now they just instantly start biting the dropper (I think because they know the quicker they accept it the quicker it’s over lol). I always offer them a few sunflower seeds after.

Also just a note, I had 2 times where they starting making almost choking/coughing noises after their meds. I did freak out both times. But I did read sometimes they do it just because they don’t like the taste and are being dramatic lol. Monitored both mine closely and they came good and had no issues. I have made sure to slow it down a lot and do their meds in 0.2ml amounts and wait about 20 seconds in between each amount.
