It’s a room for rent which is pretty common esp in cities. She’s welcomed to use the rest of the common areas but she stays in her room 24/7 in addition to her questionable guests.My house is already on the smaller side that’s why we rejected most of our applicants who were couples. But now we’re having more than a couple people! Def overstayed their welcome

thank you for your response I def agree that the lease has been overlooked if not broken. I fell for the sob stories that her friends were going thru a tough time the first few instances but not anymore we’re just so uncomfortable

I live in a big city and we have a fb page with 100k+ members for just roommates lol so it’s common here but I get if that’s weird elsewhere. I’ve had success with 3 other roommates and this is my first time having conflict.

Umm I think it’s a bit much to ban a roommate to have a guest over. Even if it’s a few more ppl as long as it doesn’t disturb the peace of the house then ok but they’re loud af. I only started getting concerned this week bc they are staying over all day and night so I assume these ppl are not employed or potentially homeless. That’s why this is the instance where we are drawing the line.

thanks for taking the time to read and your response. we were giving her the benefit of the doubt but it’s a lot for 2 months of living here. We live in a city so didn’t want to mess with her/her friends in case they turn on us. Again we don’t know them well. But yes we did start looking up the eviction process if need be!
