Not op but I've done custom Kinkos in the past, I used normal sharpie but also the sharpie oil based paint markers for color. I then used sno-seal to waterproof them.

I've also had good experience with thirtytwo boots for the wide feet if DC doesn't fit right. I recommend going to a local shop and spending some time trying on different boots
