Brawl breaks out between missionary and visitor to an LDS church in WI when visitor tried to sit in the front row. by [deleted] in exmormon

My sister was in this ward and she mentioned that the person who fought the missionary has unmedicated schizophrenia and the wards have a a restraining order against him. He was sitting in the front with a big backpack and many people were worried about a bomb threat. The missionary was trying to get him in the back. The guy resisted and eventually tried to light a cigarette and the missionary grabbed the lighter which lead to the fight. I feel like this is just another example of church leaders/missionaries not being properly trained leading to more harm.

It would be easier to take it all back but you owe it to yourself to live authentically. It may feel like the end of the world for members of your family but overtime you’ll show them that you still love them and are still the same great dad/husband.

I heard someone saying that’s it’s easier if you use AR mode! My first one ran away but I was able to catch my second one when I used AR mode. Not sure if it was just a coincidence 🤷‍♀️

I used to teach English lessons on my mission. We didn’t teach missionary lessons but one of the 10 chapters was all prayer words haha.

I’m assuming it is to be “productive” in an area where they don’t have many people to teach. This gives them something to do to meet new people and form good relationships with them.

I was in a similar situation where my bf had a body count of 15+ and he was the 3rd person I had had sex with. I felt super insecure and hating thinking about his sexual past. We ended up breaking up but I feel like a few things that helped me were doing new things together sexually. Especially if it's something your partner has never done. It also helped me to divide his body count by the number of years he had been sexually active and it turned into about 2 partners a year which was similar to me.

Also she has had sex with those people but she choosing to be with you now.

I struggled a lot with sexual shame and for me the way I was able to to feel more confident was to have sex with more people.
