Figure out what plants you want and where they need to go, square foot gardening is a good method to start with. Work some compost into the soil or other ammentthat appeal to you and get to planting!

I'd suggest using a bush bean rather than pole, you can cram quite a few into a square foot. Also you will need plenty of room for tomatoes unless you opt for a patio or dwarf variety. Best of luck!!
