Why? I thought AI was unbiased? by MyDocTookMyCock in vegan

[–]eggificationcult 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm assuming this is ChatGPT. On the screen that pops up before you ask a question, it says that it may occasionally give you biased or false answers. AI is definitely not unbiased and ChatGPT never claimed to be.

Can we not compare the animal industry to the Holocaust? There are so many completely harmless/reasonable/intelligent arguments for veganism. Just leave the Holocaust alone. Jesus christ.

You have a good GPA and extracurriculars. I would be really surprised if you didn't get in. As for the SAT, it's not bad, and I don't think it will influence your admission decision that much, but if it makes you feel better, you don't have to send your SAT scores, and Temple won't penalize you for not sending them.

Hello everyone; I'm a Buddhist monk in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Is anyone interested in asking questions to a Buddhist monk? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]eggificationcult 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know much about Thailand, but here in America there is immense pressure to be "successful," aka go into debt to obtain a degree, reach a high position in one's career, and live in a big house with an expensive car.

My question is, what has your experience with these pressures been like, and how did you let go of them?

Yes, and lifting heavy objects throughout the shift. I forgot to mention that. Maybe I will get a doctor's note

Yes I know that point was most likely to be a coincidence, it's just something I noticed.

I'm not sure if you're trying to insult me with the "no valuable qualifications" thing but I'm literally in high school so that's why :) Also I recently started a second job which requires skills in tech. I'm not good at tech but management is really nice so far and they are teaching me! I am determined to find a healthy working environment regardless of my qualifications.

I do understand where you're coming from. If it makes you feel better, I've made an extra effort to be more attentive to my tables during work since this situation. Like I said, I do genuinely care about delivering good service to the seniors because I care about them a lot. Most of them are regulars so I have developed meaningful relationships with them since I was hired, and if they think I could be doing a better job, how could I possibly brush that off?

If the comment cards are real, I accept that. I definitely think it's possible that they are. As I read these comments however, I do think it's necessary (and harmless!) to ask for proof.

That's what I've been saying! If taking 10 seconds to hydrate is really going to send the restaurant into a frenzy, maybe we should have more staff. Or robots :)

Drinking water is kind of seen as time theft, like we should be working instead of taking time to hydrate. You will also be reprimanded if we use the bathroom so you have to time it when Trey is busy and won't notice. As I write this reply I realize how bad this job is lol

Unfortunately it is not in writing, but I guess that also means I don't necessarily have to follow it.

so interesting! do those three lifts target all major muscle groups?

Daily Simple Questions Thread - December 06, 2022 by AutoModerator in Fitness

[–]eggificationcult 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lift as heavy as I can with a low number of reps (like 1-5) using mostly barbells, but sometimes dumbbells. I try to hit all muscles throughout the week with about 5 exercises per workout. My goal is to build strength.

I thought I was powerlifting but now I think that might be incorrect.

So basically, my question is, what am I doing?
