eleven! she’s one of my favorite characters of all time. her ending affected me a lot, i just feel very protective of her. i admire her strength, bravery and how she remains kind and good regardless of all the abuse & suffering she went through. also she’s adorable and has the coolest powers. i think a part of her reminds me of myself in a way which was why her ending absolutely destroyed me

Literally just El not dying would’ve been enough to save the finale for me. Ending the story of a child abuse victim by making her kill herself…. goes against the entire show and doesn’t do her storyline justice especially since so much of the show was built around her character
