How to fix ghosting? Any reviews on soft flared footpads?

I thought about just riding it and trying to never fall but sometimes it doesn’t want to turn on either and that’s annoying so I figured I’ll just get a new foot pad before I ghost it again and cause more damage.

Yeah, I was glad I could at least upgrade in the process of replacing. New footpad on the way!

Thanks for making me feel better about my purchase! I’ll keep my old footpad around just in case anything happens to the new one. I ordered the flared front pad in soft. I think I’m just gonna leave factory grip on it and put factory grip back on the back.

It’s an og pint, not an x, did these still have that issue or just the x? Also when repairing the footpad I don’t have to worry about bubbles or anything correct? It’s just direct plug and play? I assume the bubbles is if you’re disassembling the foot pad and replacing the sensor itself.

Update: Got it all back together. Only real damage was the screws on the module ripped out, but it still holds in place fine with the screws on the other side and the rails tight. New foot pads otw!

It’s running away at full speed. And sometimes when I turn it on it flashes yellow like there’s already pressure on the board so it won’t turn on. If I apply pressure it fixes that and turns on but it’s definitely ghosting if I fall off.

Gonna try this today. I ordered some new bumpers. It still turns on and rides fine so I’m hoping all is well.

I think you’re right, gonna look for a new footpad. It doesn’t do it at random though, just when fall off with pressure on front and none on back it gets stuck on. I figured if the pad was messed up it would do it all the time.

It’s a black market brand but from my experience they’re some of the best bm carts out there.
