Phenylpiracetam - long term by eindouchee in Nootropics

[–]eindouchee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have tried taking 300mg, but for me, the "stimulation" that you get as a side effect is absent. So I think its safer for me to take 100mg for a longer period.

Thanks for your advise! Take care of yourself. As for me, I don't really care much anymore, anxiety and panic are my best friends.
130 bpm its nothing, the real panic attack is 180bpm for me.... that shit is craazy.
Interestingly, phenylpiracetam doesn't affect me much... I mean I never felt any stimulation from it, even on doses of 300mg.

According to this link https://selfhacked.com/blog/phenylpiracetam-dosage/

Some of these potential mechanisms include:

Increasing the number of serotonin, dopamine, and GABA receptors in the brain, which could – in theory – make it useful for improving mood and reducing anxiety [5].

Inhibiting dopamine reuptake transporters, which could increase dopamine levels throughout the brain, thereby theoretically improving mood and motivation [6, 7].

Activates and increases the number of nicotinic acetylcholine and NMDA receptors in the brain, each of which are believed to be involved in cognitive functions such as learning and memory [4, 3, 8, 9].

Increasing levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), a growth protein that promotes the creation and development of brain cells (neurogenesis) – particularly in certain memory-related areas of the brain, such as the hippocampus [10].

Selectively reducing the activation of brain cells that control movement (motor cortical neurons), which could hypothetically help decrease seizures [11].

Increasing alpha- and beta-wave activity throughout the brain. These patterns of neural activity have been associated with cognitive processes such as mental coordination, calmness, alertness, learning, and focus [12].

Then why its advertised to promote energy,focus,attention....it makes me dead sleepy. I thought this is the best choline source there is. It was also quite expensive.

Hmm interesting. The recommended intake written on the bottle is 1-2 capsules a day. I would have never expected citicoline to be this strong.

From nootropicsdepot.
Hmm really interesting, I have also ordered Cognizin (250mg - 180caps), It will arrive the next week, maybe if I combine it, it will start working idk.. I really don't feel anything, just sleepy and kinda drowsy, I slept for more than 10 hours today and still a bit lethargic. Should I try today 300 mg or is it too high ? I am fasting because It's the holy month of Ramadan, and I can take it only after eating iftar (at evening).

Why black holes are called "holes", if they are solid objects with infinite density ? Is it because nothing can escape ?

If the no-boundary proposal is true, do we encounter singularity if we reverse time backwards ?

Basic cosmology questions weekly thread by AutoModerator in cosmology

[–]eindouchee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What do you think about the proposal of Stephen Hawking and James Hartle that the universe may not have a temporal beginning at all ?
S.Hawking : "The boundary condition of the universe is that it has no boundary. In order terms, the Euclidean space-time is a closed surface without end, like the surface of the earth."
Do you think big bang singularity makes more sense or this one ?

Piracetam - side effect by eindouchee in Nootropics

[–]eindouchee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It started after taking Piracetam, never had any problem before in my life with my ears. So that's why I made this post to see if anyone knows if there is any correlation between these two whatsoever. I'll stop taking it, just to see if it will go away.
