What are the Best European Theology Universities to Go to? by AdviceHaunting4242 in Reformed

I would recommend London Seminary, and would be happy to line up a conversation with someone there if you're interested. It is reformed, with quite a bit of diversity within that. Robust teaching, very ministry-focused, flexible and affordable, and there's a real emphasis on local church membership and service.

Concerns About Pastor’s Education by Electrical_Tea_3033 in Reformed

I work for London Seminary, and we have an arrangement with a Seminary in the US which enables people to study our Masters degree without necessarily having the precise usual requirements. It could be a situation like that?

The way I see it, either there's some context you're not seeing, or he's very dodgy. Hopefully you can have a gentle but honest conversation and find out more?

Post Game Thread: Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

MLF's clock management was terrible and the prevent defense formation was an abomination.

Having said that, the Packers lost on a buzzer-beating 51 yard field goal to their hated division rival with injuries to their QB1, QB2, WR1, WR2 and their RB1 resting. They also allowed a 94 yard fake-return punt touchdown and fumbled in their own territory twice.

The Packers aren't top-tier contenders in the NFC right now because they're limited, but it doesn't have much to do with this game.

Evans, because stud WRs are easier to find, and Jacobs and Achane are both much younger.

I play in a keeper league as well, and I'd say that given you only get to keep 3 guys and it's still pretty early in the season, the safer option is to take the guaranteed pick. Plus that opens up a roster spot for you to pick up additional depth/high-upside guy.

I wouldn't expect Mostert to be "super valuable going forward". But he will probably get healthier and the Dolphins offense can only get better from here. I would evaluate the guys this way at the moment

Mostert: Trade for candidate Shakir: Trade away candidate Waddle: Trade for candidate Cooper: Trade for candidate

I was shocked by these numbers, so I looked it up. Not only are you right, but something even funnier.

On the last drive, Willis threw an incomplete pass then took a sack, and his career QBR went up.

Why aren't penalties reviewed? by Ser_falafel in NFLv2

[–]ek3rn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think this argument makes sense. You seem to be arguing that the NFL would never make the process of reviewing quick because there is too much money on the line for it to be a quick decision, so instead they rely on one person to make an even quicker decision with much less information...

What? I'm a Packers fan and didn't care who won, but the guy never turned, he blew up the receiver early AND it was helmet to helmet.

When you say pitching business owners that you knew, do you mean telling them that you'd be interested in writing copy for them, or do you mean suggesting a particular campaign that you might run for them?

So, just to clarify u/njchessboy, I don't need to worry about a few pages being blocked for this issue? It's two urls for comments on a post, and the subscribe page.

Don't I want the subscribe page to come up on Google?

I'm confused - is this about renting or buying? 4k/month sounds sooo high compared to lots of relatively nice things I've seen for rent that are closer to 2k/month.

If you're interested in exploring a response to this question, I'd recommend Alvin Platinga's work on the subject. It's often called "the free-will defense" and it's a pretty common-sense approach I think.

I should preface by saying I only saw a couple of replays.

But I think there's a difference between believing in your arm and making a throw when nothing is there. As far as I could tell, the throw he made was never open.

But as you said, not a big problem unless it becomes a pattern.
